THE THEORIES

No theory, but some info:

Can you tell us anything about Episode 6.05 of The Mentalist? –Deshani

Before this Sunday’s episode, titled “The Red Tattoo,” is over, you will get a kind of whopping new clue to Red John’s identity.

Do you have any new info on The Mentalist, or have you already given it all to us? –Samara

Did you not see above that I watched this Sunday’s episode?!
Well, I can also share that one of the five remaining possi-Johns is
about to reveal a certain phobia. But does his fear thus rule him out…?

It’s been a while since we’ve heard something interesting about Cho of The Mentalist. Is there anything special coming up for him? –Sonia

What if I told you that Leverage fave Beth Riesgraf guest-stars
in this week’s episode, and that her cute-as-a-button character winds
up asking a certain stone-faced CBI agent out for coffee…? (Lucky duck.)

I hope there is a good answer as to why RJ hasn't killed PJ now that he's narrowed it down to 7 people. I understand that RJ loved the cat and mouse game and totally get why he wouldn't kill PJ when he was flailing about trying to catch him but narrowing it down to 7 suspects means it's GUARANTEED PJ will catch RJ at some point so why is he letting him live?

People keep taking Bruno Heller's the wording of "we can trust that list" answer out of context of the interview.

He isn't asked if Red John is on the list. He is specificly asked can we trust the list.

The question was "
After all that craftiness on Patrick Jane’s part, Red John is
still a step ahead of him. So can we really trust that the list is
accurate if Red John is so willing to confirm it?
"

Bruno Heller
: Yes, we can trust that list. As much as much as
Red John has been one step ahead, Lorelei Martins’ intervention changed
the game. So as much as Red John is trying to play from a position of
strength in reality Jane has gotten a lot closer. This last episode of
the season really sets us up for next season: The hunt is on, no messing
about.

THE LIST IS REAL.

I have created a little poll about the seven suspects and I would be glad, if you vote for your favorite suspect. It just contains the seven suspects and additionally "no one of the list".
I know, a lot of people here don't trust the list and have other suspects or believe that Red John is not a single person.
But I'm convinced that he is a single person of that list and furthermore I was too lazy, to fill the poll with every suspect, that was ever suspected on this page.
So please don't be upset, if your favorite suspect is not in that poll. Otherwise, it is in your option to create another poll with more suspects. :)

I have a little bit my doubts that it works, but please everyone just one vote. Otherwise we won't get valid results.
I really would like to see who is currently the most suspected person and I'm convinced, the most of you too.

In another recent post, I included my thoughts about "The Red Tattoo" and a possible connection to "he is mar".  At the time, I had forgotten about the episode "The Blood on His Hands" where a Visualize member is found and she bears a Visualize tattoo.

The upcoming episode is entitled, "The Red Tattoo."  We know from its description that it focuses on the murder of a prominent member of Visualize.

The episodes that follow are "Fire and Brimstone" and "The Great Red Dragon," both titles of which are from the Book of Revelation.  It is my guess that we'll find out in "The Red Tattoo" that RJ is marked with a red tattoo (akin to Revelation's 'mark of the beast') and that will be our answer for the meaning of "he is mar".  Perhaps this ties in with his (past?) connection to Visualize.

I liked it better when "Tiger, Tiger" was something mysterious & everytime someone said it, it meant something secret & obscure.  Now it's just the "code word" for some rebel cop group, and why the hell are they just NOW tossing it around everywhere to each other.  You'd think through the course of the seasons it would have popped up more often... just sayin.
