THE THEORIES

It makes sense now why Kirkland would ask people if they recognize him because I believe Kirkland thought his brother is Red John.  That is why he wanted to kill him on his own. Bob Kirkland was very sadistic himself-imagine what his brother is like.  Surely if it was his brother anyone who has actually seen Red John would think it was Bob Kirkland.  It is not surprising at all that various law enforcement people would all want to bag the Red John case for themselves, or that there would be a renegade group that uses their own methods to deal with criminal cases.  I concur with Red Dragon's theories around the biblical and William Blake references in the show-to that end I think that Bret Stiles has some connection to the murders and that he killed or had killed his own son, Brett Partridge as a sacrifice.   I also believe that Brett Partridge said Tyger,Tyger to Lisbon because she is part of the conspiracy.  I don't believe that the conspirators are working with Red John, but they are inadvertently leaking information.

I think Heller is messing this up big time. It's becoming as confusing and inconsistent as LOST.

First of all, we should have discovered Red John's identity at the end of last season, not 1/3 of the way through season 6. It reeks of "Whoops, I've left them guessing for too long... Better give it up while they're still watching!"

Secondly, to introduce this whole new Tyger Tyger conspiracy group THIS LATE IN THE GAME is desperate and insulting. Don't add more layers NOW, Bruno - just tie up the loose ends that have laid out for us over 5 years!

I think he's turning Red John into a red herring so he can keep his show going. I'm predicting a cop-out reveal, where RJ died months ago and now others are carrying on his work or some nonsense like that. Or that RJ was never one guy, but a group of people blah blah blah, as if there are that many people in the word who all want to become serial killers and join a serial killer group. Crikey.

This whole Kirkland thing for me was the last straw. He was hunting RJ the whole time? Please. Then why didn't he ask Lennon for RJ's identity before he killed him? So dumb. Oh, wait! It was his twin! Now he has a freaking TWIN??? Come on! That is all.

The theory that Red John is a group, organization has been gaining great popularity here. But for me, it doesn't change the fact that it was problably just one person that killed Jane's family - and it's the only thing he cares about.
I encourage you to look at remain 5 suspects, and ask yourself a question: which one is most likely to slay a woman and a child with cold blood ?

I am glad that there aren't any theories that say "Robert Kirkland is not really dead, those bullets were not real, he had to shoot to fool the driver" :)

1) How does Kirkland know that his brother met RJ? As far as I see, he was just found by a Visualize member. (Remember barn killings? Guy had to abondon his family for good) I wonder how Kirkland connects his brother to RJ.

As for Bertram, Smith and McAllister. We can't know if any of these are RJ or not by their dialogue. I doubt that they know who RJ is. They know that RJ is a tyger tyger guy, but RJ wouldn't risk his identity.

So, to cover his identity, RJ has to act along. The best camouflage would be to cover RJ's mistakes. So Bertram can be RJ, but he also has to act like he is just a Tyger guy when he is with Smith and Tom. The same applies for the other 2.

2) What is the role of Bertram here? He is clearly more than what we see. He is in Tyger Tyger team, but he was also in Kirkland's team. That's a conflict of interest.

3) Kirkland didnt ask Jason Lennon the identity of RJ. For me, that is Bruno Heller messing up.

Also, I got a feeling that we will be exposed to dirty cops a lot this season. In Lost, in the first seasons they focused on only Dharma and we were quite curious. How does Dharma get supplies, since when are they there? What is the black smoke? Why are polar bears there? How does island cure cancer? etc etc.  But in the last season, they made it like these were quite small details and the big picture was Jacob and some other guy. And nothing was answered.

I fear that RJ will turn out to be just an ordinary member of Tyger community and the real enemies will be that team and we will focus on destrying this dirty community for the remaining episodes.
