I am extremely curious to see who is revealed as Red John.......A.K.A  Roy tagliafaro? which of the characters informed viewers that RJ's name is tagliafaro anyways?

Episode 6x8 will either be superb with unexpected twists OR an extremely disappointing and predicted reveal.

This will actually reveal Bruno's story telling abilities :) I am sure he is reading this blog and thinking......."Oh Man, these guys have covered all possibilities.....NOW WHAT !!!!"

Assuming the list is real then RJ could not be a one person.

In Behind The Red Curtain. Kirkland asked Jason Lennon if he recognized him. And then kill him.
In Red Letter Day, Kirkland makes two other Homeland Agents break into Jane's roof at CBI so they can gather all of Jane's insights on the Red John case. Then he take it for himself and never report it.

If the list is not real.
We see that Bob Kirkland and Gale Bertram have secrets together.
In Black-Winged Redbird after Jane walk out of the Bertram office there is shown that Reede Smith, Thomas McAllister, and Gale Bertram share similar secret like Kirkland and Bertram before.
If they are not the killer then 4 peoples from that list cooperate to catch RJ.
So we left with Bret Stilles and Ray Haffner.
If the description given of Red John from Rosalinde Harker is true. Then Haffner is the only middle aged and healthy guy on the list. He admit that he was in Visualize and could bo on farm where Red John mark appear for the first time.

After wading through theories knocking theories, "Please click plausiible" theories, funny theories that aren't theories, I see a few intriguiging theories a day. Sadly this is the only 1 I could track back today.

Rosalind Harker has given a lot of insight into RJ (His hands, his voice, his love for classical music (Bach) etc etc.)

The question is WHY is Jane not putting these to test? Why?

He is focused on his list of suspects, which is understandable, But what is stopping him from putting these men in front of Harker?

Don't you think that this list is made up? a diversion? Else, I think Jane would be the first person to use Harker for eliminating suspects from his list.

Also, he never made an attempt to get in touch with Rosalind......whats up with that? Some might argue that he may not want to risk rosalind's life by getting in tough with her.....but if RJ wants to kill her, he will anyways.....

I know heller mentioned that list is legit, but tell you what, he is a fictional writer, and like all fictional writers.....he may have lied to the press (with good intentions of providing us with a surprise ending)

The real list is in patrick s mind; not that hard to memorize a few names for somebody like jane

red john probably thinks now that he is more clever than patrick and he wants to prove it by killing more.

A lot of people think that Jane is RJ (Split personality et al)........

If this is true, then why do we need to watch episode 9 onward this season? to hear Jane explain why he killed his wife and kids?

And I think usually there are about 22 episodes per season, so if RJ (Who as per some people is Jane) is revealed in season 8, the are welooking at 14 episodes of jane's explanation?

I know a lot of people will rate it unlikely or plausible.....I am not doing it for the rating.....I am just trying to understand what you guys think.....

All in all, I just hope Heller comes up with something unique.....because one can only guess so much, and I think ALL possible outcomes have been discussed.......

Ok if the list is really correct then we have two suspects. I will explain why others from the list cant be RJ.
First kirkland - if he was RJ lennon would recognise him and lorelie couldnt have known that he has shaken hands with jane

Smith cant be RJ because when he met Jane lorelei was in prison so she couldnt have known that he shook hands with Jane

Stiles isnt RJ because he wouldnt be described as a kid in 1988 because he was like 35-40 back then

Bertram isnt RJ because Smith told him it was his job to watch jane. RJ does not take orders so he isnt RJ

Partridge is dead ( if he isnt he is still a possible suspect )

you have haffner and sheriff thomas. I dont know if you guys remember this but Rosalind said that RJ likes to listen Bach so i would play Bach in front of haffner and sheriff thomas to see how they react.
