Hi, I have no idea who is red john because we haven't seen him yet in the show so please forget the 7 suspects in this fake list who was stolen and PJ has another list in his mind.

Do you remeber how Patrick pretended to have a breakdown at the and of 4th season just to get close to the Red John? I think it's the same situation now. He is pretending that he is catching Red John who's on the list but acctualy, he had another list in his head. He know that Red John discliplines broke into his "office"(episode with the toothpick) and he is probably using that situation to mislead the Red John. Telling Theresa about the list i also part of his plan, otherwise he wouldn't risk with her especially because she can't keep secrets. If it came out that Bruno has forgot about the toothpick, i would be totally disapointed and the hole seria wouldn't have any sense. It is important for Bruno not to forget about any detail he presented as in the seria so far. And finally, don't be disappointed if Bruno told the wrong spoilers to the news and if Red John is nobody from the list.

Is there a homicide detective among the Mentalist fans here? Because if there is, it would be very interesting to get his/her views on who Red John might be. Not just the name of course, the whole story generated by a professional.

I reckon it's Jayne. I think Jayne has a mental disorder and is actually Red John. It would explain the fact that Red John is apparently 10 steps ahead of them all the time, and it would explain why Red John seems to know what Jayne is thinking about before Jayne does.
Jayne is a very talented Hypnotherapist, he could hypnotise people that know his as Red John into thinking he isn't Red John.

guys, if u think list is legit, there is one thing. they say guys on fake list are in danger. RJ killed patridge and he was on the list we know. So that means list of seven is fake

anybody else find it strange that RJ (or the person painting the 'blood'  on Lisbon at the end of 6:1) wasn't wearing gloves???  You could see their fingers.  In everything previously stated about RJ, he uses 3 gloved fingers to mark the smiley.
