I'm starting to assume that the real RJ is really just Janes Father. Just think about it, he is the one who knows the way Jane think's the best, he knows so many stuff from his childhood like the last episode of season 5 shows, and he has not seen Jane for so long. Though my backfire is the "Shaking Hands" accusation Lorelei made when she spoke to Jane. Also if you think about it Jane's father must have hated him after he left him, so not only he killed his wife and daughter for revenge about all the trash talking he made about RJ (Jane did) but he took revenge because he abandoned him back in that time. Also he is age appropriate to be Red John.

Please let me know your thoughts since I've never seen such a theory.

Wanna know what`s in J.J. LaRoche`s super mysterious box? Well, do you remember that man who agressed LaRoche`s mom? 
Yes, LaRoche is hiding Scott`s tongue in there. Bummer, or what? If you rewatch episode 21, season 5, you`ll see, at the end of the episode, that Scott`s mom says that her son`s tongue was never found. So, voila!

Am I the only one here who is almost absolutely sure that Red John was NOT on that list? When Bob Kirkland's men broke into Jane's "office" at the final floor of the CBI...Jane knew they were going to break in...and he smiled when he realized that they actually did. He couldn't have been that stupid to let the real list there. I think Red John is on the list...the old list, with all the people Jane shook hands with, not the final list.

In response to theory #4021 and other theories that mention Rebecca's escort and poisoning by Red John. I think it is important that we take into consideration , not only who could have had access in the prison, but the fact that they were about the same height as Rebecca. While two of the Sheriffs escort her you notice Rebecca does not look up at him coming down the hall, her eyes stay in a view where shes looking straight the whole time , Even as Red John gets closer , which is important because Rebecca is about 5,2" - 5,3" (just a estimate), and if somebody taller than 5 feet came in close view your head would automatically have to move up in order for you to be able to physically look the person in the eye. She did not do this so we all know who out of the suspects are about Rebecca's height here .. .. .. Its all in Season 2, episode 8.

I was thinking...what if the person who wrote "HE IS MAR" on the wall wasn`t that men who knew Red John, but the hooker? In this case, the whole "he is mar" shouldn`t mean a name, or an occupation, as the hooker can`t guess those things. So, in this case, "he is mar" should reffer to a physical characteristic. He is marked, maybe? He is married (if RJ is wearing a wedding ring)?
I`m just trying to say that maybe Red John has something on his physical appeareance that makes him look different, or special.

I just come across crazy theory about how to find RJ. 
There is a very clear method; 
Make the seven suspects to slander RJ on TV. 
Then six will die, and only one will survive. And that's him, RJ. 

If PJ is smart and cruel, he will use the method above.

Some people are saying "he's too old", "he's too young", "he didn't shake hands with PJ", etc. That makes no sense. if they couldn't be RJ, Patrick wouldn't put them on the list.
