Guys, guys, guys.... I figured it out. Red John is Cho. Only an Asian would have the intelligence to murder so many people, and get away with it. Also, in season 3, episode 4, he wears a red hat... coincidence? I think not.  

Is Lisbon involved with RJ somehow?

Since PJ told her about the hand shake, she has been acting differently towards Jane and the RJ case.
1. The main thing was during the episode Lennon was murdered by RK. She tried to get PJ out of the hospital claiming that Lennon was safe since RK and his team were watching him so nothing would happen. She should have know by now that none of RJ minions are safe when captured. Rebecca got killed surrounded by police officers.
2. An other Lisbon strange behavior was when she saw Robert Kirkland office. She had a bit of the girlfriend reaction who is about to meet her boyfriend. She fixed her hair, removed her jacket, and pushed her shoulders back. 
3. I also found the conversation between RK and Bertram about trusting her strange. Why?
Lisbon has always been very square and for the most part she has following the law but her recent behavior has been kind of strange. 
So then I started to think back about the last episode of season 3 and 4 where Red John capture did not happen and she was the first one to know that Jane had a plan to get RJ. What about if in season 3, she was the informant who told RJ about the whole thing. O'laughlin shooting at her could have been staged. He was an FBI agent (so trained shooter) shooting at proximity and he still missed her. In season 4, RJ requested Lisbon's head as he knew she would report back to him.
As Darcy mentioned to PJ why RJ has not done anything against anyone on Lisbon's team. Lisbon has obviously affection for her team.
There might be other reasons for all of the above but now I would not be surprised if Lisbon would be involved as a RJ minion. Could Lisbon be the Fearful Symmetry that the RJ is referring to...

Season 5 finale is all a dream. Patrick Jane is still asleep on the couch.
He hadn't slept for a WEEK!!!!

My theory is to do with the fact that it simply could NOT be his PJ's father. Why? Because throughout the series RJ has had a pervasive influence in law enforcement and his father simply would be incapable of having such widespread followers.

Seeing season 5 finale. Even though there is a list of 7suspects i think its fake. And the only way RJ could kill Eileen Turner is someone who was close to PJ from childhood. RJ would be Danny Ruskin PJ's brother-in-law. 


Any thoughts??

I'm torn between two possibilities which are as follows:

1) The list is a complete fake. Jane made this list accessible together with the information about his "happy memory" to lure out Red John.  

The whole show is based on the mind games between Patrick and Red John.  They are involved in this long battle trying to outwit each other and Red John is clearly threatened as he has people spying on Patrick and on the CBI team.  Patrick could have told different people different things and waited to see what combination of things come back via Red John and like that pin point it on someone. 

But, on the other hand would Jane give out names and see who Red John murders to pin point it on someone? Would he play with lives like that? If he did he would at least have kept an eye on those he named. In any event I believe all the names on the list are wrong. Which brings me to my second theory...

2) Red John is Patrick Jane's father.

I hate to go all "Luke I am your father" with this but this is the only way I can explain it.  Red John is competing with Jane.  Red John is old. He is manipulative. He was in visualize long ago. I am saying this a bit unsure but didn't Brett Stiles mention that he knows Patrick's father? I am not sure now whether that happened or whether I am imagining that.

He fits the bill.  He is the only one who could know who Jane liked back at the carnival.  He is Jane's "maker".  He could have murdered Jane's family because Jane ran away with his wife from the carnival, in other words she took him away from his father and they were making lots of money together.  He knows Jane and how to get to Jane.  He was cold hearted and he was ruthless.

If you exclude all other story lines and look at this and this alone you will realize it matches quite nicely.  We were never told what happened to Jane's father.  And this is the one theory that has never been laid to rest.

As for the whole hand shaking thing, it could still match up.  It could just be a saying Lorrelei used. It could even be something Red John wanted her to say, he is obviously toying with Patrick. When he mentions this in the video and the list of suspects he words it in a mocking way.  And the video where they sell the "magic crystal" to the sick girl shows how easily his father can lead anyone into a state of trust and security.

I stand by this theory, his father is Red John. I'd like to know your opinions please.
