Not a theory...  more of a statement.

If 1 of the 7 suspects is RJ, which is looking very likely after what heller has said, then the shock value for us fans won't be finding which 1 of them is actually RJ is anymore...  so the shock value will be in RJ himself. who? why? where? his background? how it started? his connections? etc & I am really hoping that there is a link to PJ too, I'm not saying i want it to be family, thats feels to OTT even for this show, but Id love it to have a bit more depth to why RJ killed his family & he has tortured him for years, than just, 10 years ago PJ went on tv & p****d off a psycho?! 

it wouldn't take much to upset RJ i'm sure, but heres hoping theres more to it.

my theory goes like  this:

in the last episode of the 5th season, pj gets a real evidence of who rj might be, and this is something really important cuz who else could know about is memories, aside someone who grew with him who know him better that else.

i bet all my money for the father or a secret brother. and if is not one of this guys is someone related to the carnival.

Hello everyone , there is a very easy way to know who Red jhon is , but they just want to add more drama and suspense to the show , i m going to tell you how to identify Red JHon.
If you re watch The Mentalit episode 13 from season 5,than you should know that the priest know exactly the kid who draw that smiley face on the wall , so why Jane did not show the pictures of the seven suspects to that priest , he will definitely recognise him and he had no interest to lie or hide truths to Jane , that way Jane will be one step away , .

I also agree with the last theory written, Kirkland & Stiles are not RJ, I also think Kirkland is after revenge on RJ like PJ is (& if by some ridiculous storyline Lorelei is still alive then I believe Kirkland maybe connected to Lorelei or her sister somehow.) I don't think PJ even knows she is still alive at this point to be fair thou.

Ok i have to say this......This whole Lisbon being rj accomplice is just rubbish, she loves him & she is the only thing in PJ life that he cares about, we all know he will spend the whole of the next series trying to keep her safe from RJ i'm sure to the point of madness. He didn't make the cd himself because he believes lisbon is working for RJ???? No No No . The CD came straight for the nut job who stole Eileens baby, it came from RJ himself, PJ doesn't even have a smart phone or use a computer and now suddenly he is steven spielberg & he is making & editing his own Videos with RJ girl to try fool the 1 & only person he cares for?????  RJ made the CD, when/how are a differ matter?!

I don't think the list is fake as I think IF Bruno heller lied at this point it would upset all of the fans and that's not what his aim is. I believe most or at least some of the suspects are linked to RJ somehow or another.  Some we all ready know about kind of such as Stiles.

If i had to guess... HAFFNER... SHERIFF MCALLISTER... PARTRIDGE... are the main 3 who could be RJ in my eyes.

(but partridge will really really have to act his heart out to convince me on any sort of level that he is just like Jane & really a charming, charamistic psycho killer who can manipulate most people, be a womanizer & has god knows how many followers in the palm of his hand.. Yes partridge def could be a killer this i don't doubt, but is he RJ???. He has been there from the start of the show but at the same time that seems a little too obvious in my book for this show.)

hmmmmmmm... so many doubts... but i'm sticking with them 3 for now.

No one on the list is red john. Bertram and haffner both work for RJ. Kirkland is trying to kill RJ bc of a wrong he committed against a woman is kirkland's life. Kirkland is being played by bertram. Smith, partridge, stiles, and the sheriff are all excluded for several reasons including their jobs, appearance, etc. My theory is jane gave his list to lorelei knowing that red john would pry information from her and kill her. Lorelei agreed to help jane bc she now knows rj killed her sister and that if she cant kill rj, patrick will. Jane has a fee more names cleverly left off the list and will use the info he and rj both have to understand how rj gets his information. He does not yet fully trust lisbon. Van pelt's father is in some way connected and so is van pelt. I believe we will find out that rj played football for van pelts dad and that he then went to play at alabama. I believe some huge keys are the locket she keeps. The food court scene that no one knows about. The question do you recognize me that kirkland asks.

i have a lot of doubts which i would describe later......
Let me start with Stiles as many people think he is RJ...But i don't think Bruno Heller will reveal that very easily....And Stiles is the obvious choice for the audience.....Why? Definitely every single creation of the creator will have some qualities similar to the creator...Ergo PJ and RJ will be having some qualities of Bruno Heller...As we have seen in many episodes both PJ and RJ are great manipulators and also they love to play mind games with people..Hence i think Heller plays with the audience by giving some obvious clues and of course obvious suspects....So Stiles and Bob kirkland will not be RJ..
But i don't wanna mention someone as RJ (after all its the problem of Heller)... Still i have some doubts which i desperately need answer...Those who can explain shall comment down....

instead of caring about the phone of Timothy Carter which got cleared all its

2.Timothy
Carter.In the season 3 finale, how did he come to know that bertram,jane and
his co would be at a mall? Eventhough RJ is always one step ahead of PJ, this
info could possibly be revealed by Bertram or jane(which is irrelevant)

or by jane's
team members(This too seems impossible for me). So that should be Bertram...But
how a smart guy like jane didn't notice this point?
 3.If Carter
wasn't RJ then why did sally carter write such kind of letter before she killed
herself? In the very next episode, Rosalind Harker the woman who seemed to be
lived with RJ confirmed that Carter is not RJ...So that makes me to doubt the
genuineness of that letter...Why would a woman wrote down a letter of lies
during the last breath of her life? Unless of course she did want to confuse
jane...Otherwise What if Lisbon is one of RJ's accomplices and took out the
real letter written by sally and instead replaced it with a fake one? But that
would have taken her some time...Obviously that was impossible considering the
fact that the forensics immediately arrived there….

Since Reede Smith is the least probable suspect makes him very likely to be Red John. After all his name contains "The Red is Me". Also could he be wearing a fat suit?
