THE THEORIES

I dont think its  Bob Kirkland because Bruno Heller said that everybody will be surprised once when we find out who he is. Your really think he would make it this simple ? Bob kirkland may be helping red john, but i dont think he is red john himself.

Robert "Bob" Kirkland is Red John!
When he first met Patrick Jane they shook hands. And only after that episode, Lorelei told Jane that s
he's surprised they didn't become friends from the moment they shook hands.
Furthermore, he appears out of nowhere into the center of the RJ case, and seems to control some of the most powerful figures (Virgil Minelli).
In my opinion, he is too involved in this case, being just a recurring character.

The crime scene investigator from the pilot episode and others is "RED JOHN". He is in the perfect job to secretly control murder investigations since he collects the evidence from the scene. He is the right build as "RED JOHN" when Patrick meets him in the copycat episode. Patrick already meet him a couple of times and he clearly states "he urks me!" I say he is "Red John".

After s5 e16 it must be homeland security officer Kirkland, why would he want to have info to Lorelei's case. If it is not him then red john must be a member of the us government because only such a person will have more power and resources than Kirkland.

Ray Haffner
is suspect.
Surely, if RJ plays a "character," he's
Partridge (probably) or Haffner; if he appears with his true
character, Mashburn and Harken are likely, but do not rule Haffner,
because almost get fired maybe it was part of some plan or agreed
with Bertram for some reason, maybe to study the reactions of
Patrick. Let's say that both he (and not one of the FBI), the
powerful friend of RJ, it could be a play, such as those that often
makes Jane.
RJ could pretend to be a person who has
worked on the farm of Visualize, go to Ardiles, offer him a deal,
then put false tracks, and witness to have met and seen RJ: and maybe
just fit Patrick Jane, taking out the story of Panzer and Tom Maier,
putting his DNA on the farm, hiding knives with the blood of the
victims in the attic, revealing that he did escape Lorelei, Kristina
disappeared in the custody of CBI and the meeting with Jane, an
alleged Carter and RJ that saves and protects Jane, threats to
Wainwright, the deleted memory to the child and all the stupid things
he has done over the years and especially in season 4, so Kirkland
and the FBI (with the famous powerful friend of RJ) arrested him.
Here, is the famous "surprise party."?It could also
pretend to be a naive adept of Visualize that you discover and
suspect, only to come out with: it was there, but not me, I've seen
who he is and I have proof. And after Jane stuck, leave their jobs to
the CBI, which has become useless, and leave to make the private
detective with money stapled to Visualize. Haffner could be there, as
you can see, his being discovered from Lisbon as a worker on the farm
may in fact be part of a strategy (how to get almost hunt for not
working too with Jane, and risk getting caught), equal to the
stupidity of Mars or incompetence of Partridge, in order to be
credited as a witness, maybe he "threatened the victim/survivor to RJ" (Criminal Minds teaches), appear weak, to frame
Jane (or even Mars, Cooper and Partridge himself). Who would suspect
the poor and naive Haffner, who has been caught even from Lisbon? The
fact that Cooper is told about many things, means that it is an
important member of the church, maybe it's him and tried to maneuver
Cooper, in addition to having the money to send Stiles in jail to
give Cooper (and then check him) Visualize. Furthermore, it can
easily have recruited an adept from the belief, as Ron Deutsch, maybe
without revealing anything about RJ, but he had to "do a favor
to the church," in exchange for a reward, but then killed him in
the bathtub, simulating a suicide. With his card with the CBI and the
supports various, entered in Sally Carter's cell, led it to cut the veins,
after writing the letter, then stabbed her in the throat with a
spoon. All hypothesis very plausible and possible.Haffner is a
former football player, looks suspicious, like a red herring (double
bluff seems so suspect that we do not believe, we should be, it is
also disappointing and "common"), but there is no RJ music
in background, like Kirkland, renamed "Red John" and "that
symbol", shakes hands with Jane in 4x02 and in the background
you can see a red car, puts his hand on his shoulder, and his words
are similar to those of RJ with Patrick, and also by Lorelei and
Carter (things that Lisbon has not seen). Furthermore ago, with
Bertram, almost the same thing that Patrick does with Wainwright in
4x23, even if Ray escaped dismissal.
RJ: Your life is precious
Haffner: here six wasted, etc..
RJ: I can give you a new life,
money Haffner: a new career, high salary, you're ready for a
change
RJ: If you wanted to be my friend? Haffner: we're still
friends?
RJ (Carter): I tried. Haffner also says something
like
RJ: happy anniversary Haffner: idem

However it is not
the only one with clues too obvious:
Kirkland has the voice and the
limousine
Partridge has 2x23 (whatever he does)
Mars has the
name and other
Mashburn wealth, red shirt, what he says, the name
(he is Ma...)
The only is Dean Harken, which only has red hair (of
clues that can be seen almost immediately), and the character
Carter
is too perfect
Bertram and LaRoche have poetry

Some time
ago, I also posted, but I know where a picture of a collaborator of
LaRoche, resembling Haffner with dark hair.
Could be a friend,
but why get rid of him by the CBI? And if he had, what need had
Rebecca and O'Laughlin? Haffner not look like a classic friend /
follower of RJ, but it does not look like a member of ultraconvinto
Visualize.
One last thing: the pronunciation of Roy and Ray is a
little similar, at least in spoken English in the United States, so a
person named Ray, can easily turn around if it is called Roy, to
avoid both betray, or learn a double name. It 's all in the writing
easier and the difference may be only a little leg (Roy / Ray,
curiosity/trivia:Ray Taliaferro is a journalist actually exists). And
maybe the famous secret LaRoche is his belonging to Visualize, not to
RJ, the church that RJ himself uses as a support and for the
recycling of followers crazies; Hightower has threatened Stiles,
maybe she suspected something of Haffner: the interests of RJ and
Visualize coincided, in silencing Johnson and fit Hightower, and here
that would explain why RJ and LaRoche want to fit Hightower, and the
fury of RJ against her. It could be a favor asked Stiles or Cooper,
in exchange for additional money from the church.
Summary clues:
-
Haffner know Stiles and Cooper, as we understood in 5x13
- He's in
Visualize, but does not worship Stiles as a god;
- Probably knew
Ron Deutsch, who was in Visualize, and Steven Wench of FBI
- The
name Ray / Roy
- Ray, as RJ, he often uses the word "friend"
-
Ray, how do RJ definite himself, by Lorelei, in 4x24, is an "old
comrade" of Patrick
- The handshake and the hand on his
shoulder in the 4x02, just meet
- Visualize, the money
- He was
the farm of RJ, aged about 21 years
- He was a prominent member
of the FBI: so he knows O'Laughlin, Shultz, Mancini, Smith, Darcy,
the profiler dr. Montague, the director (that of poker, and maybe
even the senator), Wench, the FBI agent of 2x23 (at the scene of true
RJ), surely even Bob Kirkland
- Is now a private detective, has
freedom of movement
- It was a boy with problems, "misfit",
has gratitude to Visualize and we know that RJ respects Visualize,
somehow; Jane has articles on young homeless in 1981 in his board
-
Has the ability to manipulate
- Is an expert in technology of
surveillance, wiretapping, computer
- Is a former football player,
as Montero, Johnson, O'Laughlin (who was with him to the FBI)
-
Has a similar award to Heisman Trophy (John Heisman) in his office
on the bathroom wall in Mexico was written He is Man or ... Heisman,
maybe it was the nickname of Haffner at college
- Similar to the
description of Rosalind
- Appears in the same episode of Rosalind
visit Carter at morgue, the 4x02
- Walking, dresses and sits at
the end of 5x13, in the same way of Roy / RJ in 4x13
- Being a
cop, can easily enter homes and disappear dressing up, mingling with
the police
- Has access to evidence

Homeland security officer Kirkland, after episode 16 of season 5 it can only be him.

Red john must be Bob Kirkland as seen in s5 e16, why else would homeland security take interest in Lorelai's case. I wish they would just reveal red john the suspense is driving me crazy.
