THE THEORIES

I have finally cracked the code ! With help from a very brilliant woman from France ;)
This woman shower me things that were in plain sight the whole time, and wow when you go back an re watch some eps with a fresh perspective , its awesome !!
Spoiler alert !
I wont spoil too much for u bc that is just mean but just go and watch the high school reunion episode.
The clue is Derrick Logan.
I have clues for days to prove more but i am staarting slow with u.

The reason why the macalister reveal did NOT answer anyones questions is because SHERIFF is NOT RED JOHN!
When the real red john is revealed than there will be flashbacks. Flashbacks to the high school reunion ep, flashbacks to the barn, visualeyes connection. I know it all now!!! Not gonna lie it feels great too

I still think its Rigsby.
Don't know why no one has ever mentioned the ring he ALWAYS wears on his right hand.  Heller said there would be clues in the titles.
s1 36 Red Handed
s2 e8 His Red Right Hand
s4 e4 Ring Around the Rosie
Not saying its a bullet proof theory, but the ring is a prop.  He has it on all the time, and actors don't wear personal jewelry to film in.  Why would someone wear a ring on the right hand, not wedding finger unless it meant something.
Also when Rigsby was hypnotized, Jane said true colors came out.  Rigsby was violent.
On the flashback episode, when Rigsby met Jane for the first time he seemed shocked.
I don't like the way the show was left off either way.  Obviously I have been looking for clues, and want at least some closure, what were the clues leading up to Sheriff?  A little explanation would be good.

Just a bit of fun :) :

If you are a guy, who would you want as a best friend,
if you are a lady, who would you want to date:

Green:  Rigsby
Red   :  Cho

Owain Yeoman went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and yet acts like Clark Kent??? Tis not natural.
Question: Why does his dad hate him so much? Most parents are proud of their kids when the kids don't fall into a life of crime, even if the parents are supposed career criminals (TV stereotyping to establish my conclusions).
Question: Why the goatee in the flashback episode? What happened to it? Any rational minded person, if that exists, would clearly understand a goatee as a signature mark of a person trying to hide something, hence, serial killer! Is that so much of a leap?
Question: Why the baby out of wedlock drama? Seems needless to establish a weird relationship for Rigsby and have it lead nowhere, right? I mean the woman is a bit weird too, right?
Question: How does the sheriff, who is supposed to be Red John, A.K.A the most evil of all criminals in the history of cop shows, lose at Rock-paper-scissors to Jane like some stupid little child?
Question: Why does Rigsby express anger by jumping from high places to catch criminals? RJ is supposed to be afraid of heights, so what better way to show reckless abandonment when one is angry?
Question: Isn't it true that all serial killers strive to look like Ted Bundy/clean cut? jk
Fact: Owain Yeoman is a Brit and thus perfect for a Sherlock Holmes type program. The dude picked a red head for a new partner!
IT CANT BE THE SHERIFF because we need a sense of serious foreboding and creepiness about Red John for it to be Red John. We need to see Red John in action from a more intimate point of view so as to see the truly dark nature of him before he is caught. There needs to be a creep factor that is off the scale, yo!!! The sheriff is a great actor but just not Red John! Rigsby, with a little more exploration into his divergence from his dad, a dad that happens to be another well known actor, could establish a serious level of darkness, pity, terror, etc..
Show Rigsby hiding in that barn!

I just remembered that at the end of last season there was a debate which show should be cancelled (due to financial issues): The Good Wife or The Mentalist. Both shows were brilliant but if it had to be one, it would have probably been The Good Wife that would have stayed on.

Somehow, however, producers of both shows managed to convince the board to keep them going. My guess is that Heller pulled some proper ace off his sleeve and CBS trusted him with a whole next season. Would the amazing stuff look anything like what we saw last Sunday? I seriously doubt it. I think Heller is going for something completely NEW here and the CBS saw it. There would be nothing new in finishing off an arch ememy like this and proceeding to 'two years later' and a new career opportunity for Patrick. It was  done before and has killed many popular shows. What are they going to do now? Mope around for 14 episodes??

There're two options:
ONE: Heller came up with a unprecedented development in a TV series plot and is going to knock us off our feet (like he did to the CBS decision making body)
TWO: Heller begged and begged that he could at least finish his show before it goes off air - and thus the rushed, poorly written, unprecedentedly ridicilous ending

Also, this profiler business has me thinking. Basing the entire show on another show? Not very original. However, copying a whole show in one episode as a red herring. Possible. Perhaps. As Lenny Kravitz sings...

Are we supposed to believe that the Sheriff is Red John when the Sheriff could not even play rock, paper, scissors with Jane in season one???
Its Rigsby!
We have to remember that Red John gives people what they want most, and that is how he ensnares them. We all saw Rigsby give the lawyer lady a baby that she really wanted, right? Miss lonely hearts will be back, methinks.
Lastly, why show conflict between Rigsby and the smoking hot Van Pelt whist arrested in the backseat? Why is Rigsby such a Clark Kent all the time? The dude is a serial killer!!!
