THE THEORIES

How on earth is Bertram RJ. According to one of a few episodes I can clearly remember, it's bullshit. When Van Pelt's fiance reveals himself to be the mole by sending a killer to a hotel room, it makes it obvious that everyone else on whom Jane used that trick(including Bertram) is uninvolved, otherwise it just wouldn't work.

This is not so much a theory as it is a couple of questions.  I just re-watched Strawberries & Cream II (Where Patrick Jane shoots the Red John imposter, Timothy Carter).  A couple of things struck me:

1) Jane never told anyone outside of the team that he was taking Bertram to that mall to confront him about being Red John.  For all we know, he only told Rigsby and Cho.  Even Bertram did not know ahead of time where they were going.

2) The "assassin" was not just going to kill Hightower - she brought along instruments of torture.  She did NOT simply want to kill Hightower.  Either she was instructed to get information from Hightower or to abduct Hightower - not just kill her.

3)We do NOT know that the "assassin" was only heading down to room 505 (the room number given to O'Laughlin.  That rope might have reached at least a couple of floors lower.

4) We now know that there is an organization within law enforcement, spanning several agencies, that is interested in Red John or perhaps even associated or even led by him.  We knos that Bertram is part of that organization.  Might O'Laughlin have been part of that organization as well?  Might that organization have been more interested in killing Hightower than torturing or abducting her?  Is Hightower a member of that organization so she needed to be disposed of since they might have feared her spilling about the entire organization?

It just seems that, in a series like this, where nothing can be taken at face value (or rather everything must be taken at ONLY face value), a lot of people jump to conclusions that are not necessarily established by the facts that we actually see.

Sorry, this is just for fun because the TV Guide article has everyone calling for one person. I've read it so I know the theory

Since Van Pelt and Rigsby are leaving the show I just thought I'd throw out someone like Rigsby. He has been on since Day 1. The actor is actually Welsh in real life and has a very strong accent. It's strange to see. So he could change his voice to be creepy or different. The spoilers say..........

That the show will end with the killing of Red John and then fast forward 2 years. So maybe Rigsby was Red John. He dies. Grace loses 2 bad husbands/boyfriends and quits to disappear and there we go.

By the way here is an interview with him. Funny to hear him

IMDB's Owain Yeoman (WAYNE RIGSBY) trivia says :

"Trivia: His heroes are his wife, Lucy Davis, because of her subtlety to acting and Edward Norton because of his ability to change roles, which Owain has said to be what acting is all about"

(Source :
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1466859/?ref_=nv_sr_1)

-Look at Rigsby's initials : W.R -> Can easily be completed by "edJohn" = WRedJohn, the pronunciation doesn't change at all. We have (W)RedJohn, the W is silent.

-If you count the number of letters that contains "RedJohn", you get 7 Letters. There are 7 suspects from the list. From the beginning of season 6, you can see that the first episodes were about identifying each suspect from the list as them being RedJohn or not, approximately each episode is about 1 of the suspects, and moreover we understand that the list wasn't really made up with the real RedJohn, but with some disciples, which we don't care about at all actually.

Logically, on episode 7, the storyline will tell us that the suspects were actually disciples but not RedJohn himself,
the CBS announced that RedJohn's identity will be revealed on episode 8 (Episode named "RedJohn")

If we come back to our W.R "(W)RedJohn" theory : So the 8th episode is named with a 7th letter word? No,
actually it is named with 8 letters, but 1 is invisible : the silent "W", for W.REDJOHN.

This theory can be illustrated with the REAL suspects list, that PJ kept for himself, containing the 7 + 1 Suspect
: Wayne Rigsby.

Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed (and understood!) my theory :).

Just one note:

In the bible alphabet red john is 444, wayne rigsby is 888. Both, famous patterns, in the middle just 666.

Perhaps is nothing, but with all references to the apocalipsis and the red dragon... I do not know.

Just for fun.

And
who worked as an arson specialist in San Diego before becoming a CBI agent ?
– and
what happens to PJ's place next episode – right, biiig
explosion coming  up

Probably gracie is in it as well, when bosco got
killed by rj’s right hand and the whole team downed a shot of tequila – except
for rigsby – what happens when rigsby came back from fetching something else to drink: he was singing amazing GRACE
–  (….how sweet the sound, that
saved a wretch like me).

maybe not only because it's a classic but because she saved him/ helped him erade his/rj's mistake by destroying
evidence or silencing the secretary (who knows how she got in possession of that poison).
And why on earth did pjane look so sad/suspicious when he left that scene, maybe
not only because he lost a witness but because there was indeed something fishy about that.

Anyway, against all odds, if rj really turns out to be somenone from
that tigger tigger winnie the pooh list - mei oh mei.
