Who is Red John?

Theories of ScarlettBeret (7)

One thing that's clear from this site is that there are MANY other mentalist fans like myself that were dissatisfied with the Red John episode and changes to the series.

I also learned, fro. viewing other sites and forums that there are MANY fans praising Heller for the ending and changing the show and even trying to push a jane/lisbon love story. That is terrible. And it also means that our voices are not being heard and for all he knows, the fans are happy with how everything is.

There seem to be a lot of people on this site that have a lot of free time to post constantly, like Stoopkid, no offense. So, why doesn't someone create some form of online petition for us to all electronically sign and request answers and NO love story for jane and lisbon?

just an idea..

why are people so clueless about the 2 month hiatus of this show? do you even check local listing before bitching or even google it before attacking the writer or creator of the show? i have never had a show on a sunday that showed a new episode on superbowl sunday in my life. and most shows go on hiatus during the olympics.. as they should.

people on this forum think they're so much smarter than Heller himself and half of you don't even use the correct form of their, they're & there. get a grip.

Why is there no mention of the leaked episode anywhere other than on this site and one other forum? Weird!! I would think it would be a bigger deal..

Oh and to the Partridge fans - BH doesn't owe you anything simply because you wanted him to be RJ. You all act like a resurrection of someone who died in front of us is better writing and more believable than the resurrection of someone who didn't die in front of us.

Partridge was too obvious from the get go. I would be let down only if on Sunday we get an episode where Partridge turns out to be RJ.

First of all, you people all need to get over yourselves. You all think you could've wrote a better RJ ending, and guess what - YOU CAN'T!!! I've been reading theories on this site for quite some time now and trust me, most of your theories are garbage. You're just mad because it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to and it wasn't done in an over dramatic way.

We don't even know if the leaked episode is real yet. Either way, I'd be fine with it. The episode wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen. I do believe Bruno Heller was mocking a lot of "fans" and their theories, a lot.

Oh and lets be honest, we're dying to see the episode tomorrow even more now. Maybe just another genius trick by Bruno Heller.. or maybe not, who knows. Either way, I'm satisfied and look forward to possibly still learning more in future episodes.

I've always had McAllister as my #1 of the list of 7 and that has not changed as of last night.

2 observations - #1 it was beyond obvious that Van Pelt was uncomfortable and maybe even nervous about the FBI searching the CBI office. B.c she has something to hide?
#2 was it common knowledge to members of the team that the tattoos were on left shoulders? B.c when Lisbon told Van Pelt to tell Rigsby to check his shoulder she didn't specify which one but Van Pelt specifically said to check the left shoulder.

Also, when McAllister "hit on" Van Pelt, was it really him hitting on her? Or do they already know each other?

Not exactly a theory. Just a thought, really.

In an interview, Bruno Heller referred to whatever character is Red John as the "Keyser Söze" of The Mentalist. Anyone who know The Usual Suspects knows that Keyser Söze turned out to be Kevin Spacey‘s character who a con artist with cerebral palsy who in the end was really the sociopath, crime lord Soze himself. We saw Kevin Spacey as one person on screen the entire movie as one person and watched him "transform" during the reveal at the very end of the film.

With that all being said, a lot of character clues will mean nothing if the character is appearing to be that different from who they really are.

Since reading that quote from BH, I feel like there are soooooo many more red herrings out there than we are even expecting. But i do still believe in Jane saying how the answers are always obvious and right in front of us.

I love the quote from Keyser Söze himself, "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

Just some food for thought! :)
