Just read a great theory in reddit from about 8 months ago...

It says that Rj was a drug addict who had a child a baby girl.
This baby girl was put in foster care because of Rjs drug issues.
Rj goes to the Elliston farm and gets clean.
He draws his first smiley face in tribute to his daughters face.
He kills his first victims and begins to streak...funny how he killed only red haired women at first and painted their toe nails. Maybe he was doing this because in some sick way his victims were his daughter in his eyes. (Thats my theory).
-His daughter is Grave Van Pelt. Grace was obviously in foster care that is almost proven in that one episode i brought up the other day. She was later adopted by Amos.
Now this theory writer then says for some reason Rj found Grace and was unhappy with Amos and how he treated her so he killed him. Maybe he even let Grace watch because this is the crazy traumatic thing that happended to Grace that she never told ANYONE. "Not even herself" Jane.

Now this theorist then makes a case for Cbi Ron being her dad. I dont buy this simply due to Rons age.
But he makes a compelling case. Ron is always there in weird places.

"RJ loves/admires Patrick Jane. He, therefore, doesn't want to kill him but become friends. In S06E01, after their little heads-up in the desert, Brett Patridge is scared by Jane. Patridge fears that Jane knows about the "Blake Association" and asks the "Blake Organisation" (BA) to kill Patrick (Patridge is a forensic guy, he doesn't carry , or doesn't even own, a gun..). Red John hears the information (whether directly because he's a member of the BA or indirectly because one of his disciple is a member, remains to be seen...) and has the urge to protect Patrick. Patridge put Patrick's life at risk- so RJ kills him. RJ tough has a problem. He thinks that the BA wants to kill Patrick- but he doesn't know who exactly is a member of the BA. Specifically, he doesn't know if Lisbon is a member or not- he has to figure it out. His plan is to lure Lisbon to a place, forces Patridge to say "Tyger Tyger" (maybe Patridge has a family and RJ threatens to kill them unless he says Tyger Tyger before he dies) and observes Lisbon's face / reaction. Due to her innocent reaction he realizes that she is not a member of the BA and lets her alive (he has to get out of the house tough, so he has to paralyze her). S06E02: The BA is worried about what PJ knows- the heads (Bertram, Sheriff and Reede) of different parts within the BA (e.g. CBI, FBI, others..) hold a meeting to discuss their current situation (Jane interrupts and then we hear Reede Smith asking "exactlyhow much does he know"- this question, though, is not about RJ but about the BA). Betram doesn't know but they assume that Patrick doesn't know much / nothing, decide to cut Patridge's tattoo away and to observe Patrick a bit better. S06E05: Reede Smith is highly uncomfortable with the situation and hires a private investigator (PI) to bug the CBI room. Jane finds it out and falsely assumes it was RJ. But: RJ would not need to kill the PI, RJ doesn't leave any trace. If RJ hired the PI; then the PI would not know ANY usable information. Reede Smith, on the other hand, isn't too intelligent. The PI knows information that point towards him- so Reede has to kill her before the police gets her. He's in a hurry, only wears his uniform and his duty weapon- which he can't use. So he takes off his suit (so blood spatter can't be seen; yet he doesn't know how he will kill her) and chokes her in his undershirt- giving her the possibility to see his tattoo. S06E06: The BA still believes that Patrick doesn't know about the BA, but finds it weird that he invites three of them into a meeting (no one knows that the PI told Patrick about the tattoo..)"

I like it especially about Tinsely being hired by Reede Smith.
That clears up the clumsiness of that escapade to me.
I am starting to buy the Cbi ron stuff because wow is he suspicious.
The poster says these points i have even said before...

1 rj was cleaning his knife with both hands during the phone call to Patrick.
We just assume he made the call. Great writing if true.
The EXACT SAME SECOND Rj calls Jane Cbi Ron walks past Jane and Uses his phone right before he cant be seen on camera.
2. Ron was walking to the hospital to protect Jane from the Ba.
His WHOLE team besides Lisbon and Jane were at Cbi.
There was no reason to show him at all!
3 copy cat killers way back when nobody knew where Jane was going but Jane did explain all HE KNEW to Ron and the team. Meaning Ron went there to kill them bc like Jane he figured it out.
4. Agent Darcy and the Morgue Murder
Jane and Darcy talk privately in the kitchen yet Ron was right there listening !
Darcy tells Jane she knows he brought Rosaline Harker to see Carters body blah blah ha ha.
5. Wayneright murder. We all can figure this one out.
Rj finally thought his dream was coming true. Jane was going to be his bff and really killed Lisbon.
BUT RJ finds out its a lie and gets pissed and to show his balls he kidnaps the highest ranking official and does some boss shit. We all saw.
BUT we all saw as Wayneright met Darcy and found out Rigsby wasn't really dead who is there?
CBI RON! WHO ELSE COULD OF KIDNAPPED WAYNERIGHT IN A MANNER OF MOMMENTS!
THIS IS THE BIGGEST CLUE OF THEM ALL BECAUSE WAYNERIGHT WAS FINE AND SAFE MOMENTS BEFORE THE LIMO EVEN PULLED UP AND HE WAS IN CBI OF ALL PLACES TOO!
The only person who could of saw what happened with fake RIgsby and have the time to kidnap Wayneright was Cbi Ron! Crazy stuff right?

Alex Jane is the mastermind behind Red John.
Ever wonder why Lorelie was found in a mother fu*%+n! CARNIVAL!!
Of coarse with a picture of a woman with the word ALIVE written on it.

How Rj guessed Janes list has never been answered. Because Rj never guessed the list he gave Jane the list.
Lorelie is Rj's stepdaughter they were never lovers like we assumed. Lorelie introduced her sister Miranda to Rj. No reason for Rj to rape and kill his step daughter. No reason for Rj to rape at all!
The Ba Killed Miranda. Roy was never Red John.
Red john led Jane right to Rosaline Harker this is a fact. Rj wanted Rosaline to lead Jane astray with her Roy story.
Red Johns Rules was the last cool episode. We learned that Rj is most likely from Janes past. We always wondered why Rj didn't just torture Sophie Miller and get the info from her instead of being her client.
Well maybe Rj NEVER WANTED INFO FROM HER..
Red John already knew about Janes happy memory because he is indeed from Janes past.

Like Quitthat said earlier, maybe Alex Jane needed a new identity and chose the last name Martins.

This is a ending i wrote, first time doing anything like this so be nice. i think its worth a read, let me know what ya think cheers

 

Lisbon goes
missing, Patrick presumes she’s gone with pike, one day passes with no contact.
Jane and Cho have a murder to investigate. It’s a gruesome murder with blood
everywhere footprints, handprints and blood smeared all over the walls, the
victim was stabbed multiple times.  There
is very little to go on and with Lisbon missing Janes mind is elsewhere.



There is a
second murder, again gruesome with the same blood everywhere, Fisher and abbot
investigate. They try to get Jane on board with the investigation, but with
Lisbon missing Jane is leaving message after message thinking that she and Pike
are together.



A third
murder occurs, this time slightly different, the victim the same stabbed but
this time only two dots and a semi circle under it.... Wiley is at his computer
investigating the murders and finds a link between all three victims. They were
all interviewed by visualise but never committed to them. After the link is
found and Jane is told he immerses himself in the murders.



In the dead
of night while he is going through pictures of the crime scenes the picture of
the two dots and semi circle baffle him, frustrated by it he casually throws
the pictures onto the glass table. Two of the pictures aline to show an all to
show an all too familiar sight. The dots the eyes, the semi circle alines with
another to create the head, Jane frantically flicks through the pictures and
suddenly stops the final piece hidden among all the blood spatter, a subtle
smear, a smurk, all together create a smiley know too well. Janes heart sinks
realising that Lisbon isn’t with Pike and what he felt for the past 3 years,
that Red John is still alive.



Janes mind
starts racing trying to remember clues or hints to where he and Lisbon might be
but nothing comes, finally the list, he hasn’t looked at it since he made the
deal with Abbot. He stares at it hopeing for something to jump out at him but
no luck. He enlists the help of Wiley and his computer. He scans the code onto
his computer and runs it through a code breaker, after a long wait it converts
the symbols to numbers. Jane and Wiley investigate the numbers not phone
numbers, the next logical step coordinates. They proceed to pin all the
coordinates on a map, there seems to be no pattern in the pins, Jane stares at
the map when one pops out, it was Janes home. Confused he starts looking at the
other addresses when another jumps out, it was the address where Lorelei was
found. He continues the process and eventually the majority of addresses are
linked with a Red John crime scene and murder.



The only
place Jane can think of going is to his house where it all started. He arrives
at the door fearing the worst he walks through the door, nothing, everything is
the same as he left it. He begins walking up the stairs, at the breast of the
stairs, a note is pinned to the door. Brings back terrible memories, he takes a
deep breath opens the door dreading what he finds but again nothing apart from
the smiley staring back at him.

He opens the note;

Hello
Patrick, it’s been a long time. I’ve missed you, I thinks its time to meet ...
again. I’ll be waiting where I first introduced myself to you. Hope to see you
soon. P.S Lisbon says hi :) 

Jane again
is none the wiser, he reads the note over and over. Introduced!?? Normal conversation
would say met you. He racks his brain when suddenly he jumps up and sprints to
the car. He drives to Palm Springs. He drives up the driveway of a mansion and
screeches to a halt, jumps out and sprints to the door. Unsurprisingly its
unlocked, he proceeds wearily, in the living room he sees a lifeless Lisbon
lying face up in a pool of blood. He rushes over to her but just before he gets
to her he hears a voice, soft and high pitched. “Hello Patrick.... I thought it
was time for us to finally meet properly” Jane turns slow to see the outline of
a man pointing a gun at him. “now Patrick how is that memory of yours? What was
the first thing I said to you?” Patrick replies with “Red John enters here” “Ahh
very good Patrick, I told you, I told you who I was, all this time and the
smartest man in every room didn’t get it. So now Patrick take a seat” Red John
puts down his gun “ now I told you before I wanted to be your friend, so what
do you think?” Jane:”you killed my wife and daughter and now the other love
Lisbon. I will kill you this night” RJ “ I don’t think so” tapping his gun “I did
those things so we could be friends, we could have everything”  PJ “ I don’t want everything, I want you dead
for what you did to me” RJ “I made you stronger” PJ ”I never asked for this”
with that being said PJ lunges for RJ, He reaches for his gun but in the
struggle its knocked away out of reach. They struggle and finally PJ landing a
few blows gets on top, the same as MacAllister, with PJ Choking RJ with both
hands, PJ then asks the same questions he ask MacAllister but this time RJ says
hes not sorry. Through the choking, RJ mutters “shes still alive” PJ loosens
his grip “what??” RJ: “ Lisbon, shes alive” PJ: I don’t believe you. RJ: go
check.



Jane jumps
up and rushes to Lisbons side checks her pulse, its faint. RJ: now Patrick I told
you I wanted to be friends and this is my gift to you, your beloved Lisbon. Now
I am going to leave and will ring you and tell you how to save her. After a long
silence and while holding Lisbon PJ: .....thank you..... RJ walks out with a
smile creeping across his face “ Goodbye Patrick, till next time”

The phone
rings, PJ answers but says nothing “time heals all wounds” and  click.

Hours pass
with Jane Just holding Lisbon, her eyes open slowly..............

  

Ok MAJOR breakthrough! Maybe..

Remember the "picture frame" clue that one guy was talking about? He would never tell us the clue but he gave me a hint and i got it. At first i said it was Roger at the bar with Jane in Mexico but no.
The pic is of Lorelie's step father who is way older than her mother. Her step father is....ALEX JANE!!!!!!
I didn't agree at first but if you put the two pics of them both side by side you can see it. Especially the cowboy pic with Lorelie step dad.
The guy who posted this may be wrong but I'm riding with him on this. Because listen to this...
Alex Jane is the only logical explanation for Red John. Love/hates Patrick and cannot kill him but loves showing HIS SON he is always the smarter one. Jane's arrogance was what Alex Jane hated about his son. Jane left and did his own thing. They have the same powers. Act the same and manipulate people the same.

Remember we were talking about how Rj had to have other reasons to kill Janes family other than what Jane said? Yea cuz Rj is Alex Jane.
Maybe he keeps his son alive because he uses him. Who knows how much he has used him over the years without Jane even knowing.
Listen to this...
Lorelie was separated from her sister until they finally met later in life. So both sisters were both Red Johns Girls right? So that means one of them most likely Lorelie the older sister, introduced Rj to her sister Miranda. But what if Rj WAS Lorelei's STEPFATHER!!
He is always away on "business" and we know Miranda died shortly after she met Rj and her own sister for the first time with this logic.
Miranda met Red John when she met Lorelie. The Ba killed and RAPED Miranda which fueled Rj to seek revenge on them. And what better way then to use Jane. Lorelie's step sister. Thats why Lorelie knew her dad did not kill and rape his own step daughter.
