I watch this show for the laughs. I dont expect it to be dark ever again.
Lisbon would have to be murdered for that to happen.

Honestly season 7 will be hilarious. Cho and Abbott banter is close to the Rigsby Cho classic convos.
Jane and Lisbon fighting like a married couple will be great too.
If your looking for a dark twisted serial killer show this is not it.
I admit the red john stuff will ALWAYS leave a bad taste in my mouth but i am over it. Sort of.
I like this show because it is stupid and goofy. It always was except for the Rj stuff.
I want a new bad guy. A panzer type who makes the audience quiver.

This whole season was rushed. Cbs pressure for ratings made heller shit out the rj stuff.
I dont know why he wanted to make us disappointed. I thought he would go for the opposite of that but what the heller do i know!
Hopefully season 7 brings back Styles thats my last hope.

Did anyone notice how Cho spoke to the dignitary/leader in Latin America? He told him that he doesn't want him (Cho) as an enemy. The guy looked scared....as if Cho's reputation preceded him. Why be so scared of a peon with the FBI who has been on the job for what??? A year???
NO! Cho is RJ and that leader knew it. Just a thought.

I was just reading through all the posts and it just made me completely sad. Heller has made this show so laughable and it made me sad because of how good of a show it used to be. Heller created the sinking ship and now he's abandoned it. I think we all just need to remember how good the first few seasons were and remember it for that because there will never be a good episode again. It's almost certain that it will be cancelled - remember the good times and forget about the bad.

Oh and I just accused cho because that would have been more believable than the Sherrif.

Hey guys and gals, I have been coming to this site for a while now and truly read some amazing things (also some terrible and down right disgusting ones but meh) I just wanted to say that as far as I am concerned RJ is now out of our lives for good. "White as the driven snow" confirmed it to me. Never have I ever seen an episode of a "Crime-Drama" especially one like The Mentalist which has, in my mind set the standard for this type of entertainment for so many years, fall so hard and so fast in such a short amount of time. Like seriously fucking Haibach managed to bug the phones of all the ex Cbi peeps and set up a trap for laroche and Rigsby that elequently. I mean these people didnt even work for the CBI anymore they were scattered all over the place like that is some serious shit and some bitchy little paedo managed to get one over on them ?..... hmmm. The writing has become some of the most appaling I think I have seen for a show like this in all of my life. I hate to post something so miserable as my first post on a site that I have come to cherish quite so much but It has got to this point and I am sure alot of you feel the same. Rewatching the show from the begining just shows me that in the end that had not a single fucking clue as to how to finish an era in TV as great as RJ's so they let a monkey pick out McAllister's name from a hat. I still watch and still hope and dream that maybe its not gone but dear god does that feel so far away from possible.
I hope every one on here carries on speculating and writing because it is truly fascinating

Guys, may I ask why you keep on guessing? Its already done. In season 6 episode 8 Red John was revealed.
So why you keep accusing the wrong persons?
