THE THEORIES

TV Reporter Meredith:

Episode 8 featuring McAllister as Red John was an undoubtedly real car-crash. Now that all the knowledgeable fans know that your show, the Mentalist, was based off another show called the Profiler, and never had a coherent storyline, how do you feel?

Virgil Minelli

Wow. Meredith that... you "knowledgeable few". That's just... You know for 6 years, I've put up with idiotic questions from supposed fans, and I've never said squat. But *today*, I must tell you Meredith, you gullible people have really set a new standard in horses assery. You people have *no* concept of what the word "trick" means.  And you ask me how I'm feeling? I'm feeling sad. You... moron. Any other questions?... Okay then. Good day to you. Elizabeth, carry on.

It was a shame and a disappointment that the revealed identity was the Sheriff. Some points were intentionally (i think) left unanswered, like the Sheriff-RJ has also mentioned. The only good parts of this RJ finale was the pigeon trick, the recurring insulting manner of Jane, bare-hand strangle and, for me, the most importantly, the quotation of RJ that says: "c'ause I am a real psychic!"...

This little detail was far too god for me for such a lousy so-called finale of RJ; so here i think how the real story goes:

This trigger quotation of RJ made me believe that this RJ candidate was also a puppet under hypnosis of the real RJ, just like the one in the season 3 finale as I remember. I think, the real RJ makes Jane a serial killer step by step, as he killed people with gun twice (one for puppet RJ, one for saving Lisbon from an associate of RJ in season finale), with bare hands, by burying, with bomb (as a setup of Sheriff), so he wants Jane to taste all kinds of murdering one by one and make him a killer up to a point that Jane can't claim anything about his innocence anymore.

Real RJ? Maybe it will reveal himself as a Season finale of 6; because the story was about PJ-RJ rivalry, and the show must find something really good to keep up for at least another season, or even for a season finale.

The "I am a real psychic" irritation must mean something. I am sorry that I am not satisfied with what we had been given, but again, I am going with Minelli again. The list is merely alive now; only Reede Smith is still living; so, if we hear any more of RJ, I will say that "another puppet bastard" was used again.

Tell me one thing: why did RJ killed those 9 women at first place? He said "I will start killing again, much more this time" via Lorelei Martins; his counted murders are less than the first 9 women; we also couldn't learn the fundamental behind of being a serial 'women' killer (male victims are only a necessity) and a Blake Society leader at the same time.

I’ve posted theories here since around the
2000th theory, and we’re reaching the 15000th,

I’ve read too many and missed a few, I even
went back and read some of the first.
The first one was about Partridge. I was
not a fan of partridge, but at one moment I was convinced, in fact I was
convinced also by Mashburn, Haffner, Frye, Stiles and others. I was never
convinced by McAllister, Bertram and Smith, and I think i was not the only one.

I refused to believe that there was a leak
until I saw it 24hrs ago, I’m not so disappointed completely to be honest to a
point of saying F…k everybody, I just couldn’t find it logical to end this way,
I mean I don’t have anything against McAllister Being RJ or calling 911 or
begging for his life, who wouldn’t when knowing he’s going to die, the guy is
smart and not a terrorist. What I didn’t like or what I had expected is that PJ
reveals RJ and not RJ reveals himself, if PJ had trapped RJ like he always does
and maybe in a more complicated trick, it was ok, but not as easy as that.

Even after McAllister was dead I kept on waiting
for something more to happen, When PJ called Lisbon I thought that finally we
are going to see the real face of RJ answering that last call from Patrick but
no, unknown caller in an evidence pack.

But hey, if we replace McAlister by any
other suspect it would also fit, I mean Bret stiles or Haffner could’ve done
the same thing, Stiles is old but he can count on Cordero to kill. Brett
Partridge and Kirkland also, seriously imagine someone else in place of
McAlister, nothing would change.

Witch lead me to think that maybe there was
a multiple shots with several actors since McAlister came into action, and
specially that on the promo we don’t see the body of Bertram.

Until tonight’s episode, I’m really not
expecting any changes, I’m just hoping for the good sake of the show and its
credibility.

To finish, if it was really a leak, i think because heller dosen't trust himself capable of satisfying us, so first he will disappoint us knowing that we will be happy with any other outcome.

Maybe this is a fake red john too, hasn't jane killed the wrong one before?
Personally I haven't seen the episode, but by the looks of it, The Great Red Dragon is the last episode I've seen.
