Who is Red John?

Theories of G102 (3)

DarkUFO from the Staff of SpoilerTV just confirmed this was the episode they were sent to review.

"Sometimes you're forced to hate the conclusions or the wrapping things up in silly, absurd ways or in fact — naming no shows — it turns out they didn't have any idea how they were going to end the show or what the secret was or why there were polar bears. We have the answers and it's very important to us, for those people who have been following us from the start, to revealnot in a series of cryptic moments that leave a lot of questions begged. We're going to tell the story and explain who Red John is and what happened and what is going to happen as clearly as possible because the audience deserves that." Bruno Heller, lying his ass off.

I honestly don't know which one is worse: he had this shitty ending in mind all along or he didn't know what to do and came up with this crap this year.

Mercy, really? Does the Red John we all (soon will) know and love really looks like someone who would ask for mercy?

It's McAllister.

=> Evidence #1: http://i.imgur.com/v98oWsz.png
=> Evidence #2: "He is Mar", could mean "He is McAllisteR" or "sHErIff thomaS McAllisteR" or even "He is McA".
=> Evidence #3: Waldo. He stays in the background and appears once a page. McAllister appeared in one case and stayed in the background for the rest of the time.
=> Evidence #4: "I'm surprised you didn't become lifelong friends from the moment you shook hands." They shook hands when they played rock, paper, scissor.

There's also some other things, like the fact that he was the only one with title on the list. I honestly didn't like the idea at first and even till last episode. Now I'm happy with basically anyone but Bertram. Talk about an anticlimactic reveal.
