Who is Red John?

Theories of GaetanoCastobello5 (1)

Here I am again!
Well, after the seven suspects are revealed, I realize that I’ve unfairly stalkered CBI Ron for too long! :P
So,
I have a theory for four of the seven suspects (I have a theory even
for the other three, Stiles, Smith and Kirkland, but I don't believe
that one of them is Red John).
The authors confirm that one of this seven is actually Red John, so my main suspect is Brett Partridge, and these are the reasons why:

he is the
only one on the list that we have seen since the first episode. If he is
the real Red John everything would have a sort of poetry and genius: he
goes along with us in this manhunt from the beginning, scattering clues
hither and thither.
So, let's see these clues:

First, he is
the only one of the seven to match perfectly the description of
Rosalind. for the other suspects we should be flexible or we should
consider unreliable the description.

Then his debut. Brett
Partridge enters the scene and the first thing he said is "Red John
enters here." Then, as he explains with a certain emphasis and a certain
irony the dynamics of the murder, Patrick recalls in a flashback the
tragic night when he slandered John on TV. The flashback ends and here
comes another interesting clue: Brett says "There she blows", quoting
Moby Dick. We know that this novel has been and continues to be trot out
to describe Patrick's obsessive manhunt against John.
A little later, Patrick defines him as a "ghoul" for the first time and walks away saying "He irks me, he's irksome."

The
second meeting between them it's in episode 2x23. Again, after the
pilot, it is a case of emulation. Again Partridge assumes an irritating
behavior, firstly ignoring the presence of the corpse and turning
cheerfully to Patrick ("Hey, hey, Patrick Jane. Long time. So qué pasa,
dude?"), Then teasing and mocking him about his alleged abilities .
Patrick still denies that it is Red John and leaves the room; Brett calls him "jerk" and Patrick comes back, scaring him.
Later
it will be Red John to do the same thing with Patrick: Firstly he
recites the famous verse of The Tyger, then he comes back, scaring
Patrick, and tells him about Kristina.
If Partridge is really John, this could be his way of revenge for the previous humiliation.
All
of That would be a farce to show himself less intelligent than he is.
No matter if Patrick gets the better of Brett, because when Brett
assumes the identity of Red John, he will always be a step ahead or
more.

The third meeting between Patrick and Brett occurs in the
episode 5x15: It's been a long time since we've seen him and it's
curious that he reappears in a case which is not about Red John, but
anticipating the episode in which Lorelei died.
This is the second
time that Patrick calls him "ghoul", and he has all the reasons to do
it: Brett has fun to explain with the most nauseating details the steps
of a human combustion. It must be said that Cho doesn't give him much
satisfaction (Cho is always a legend), but Patrick is shown once again
annoyed ... and disgusted. :D
There are two other interesting details
in this scene: the first concerns the Partridge's mother Partridge:
Brett talks about her in the past tense, so she must be dead. And when
he recalls her, he scratches his neck, a gesture of discomfort, as if
his mother is a sore spot for him. The other detail concerns what
Partridge reads:
at some point he mentions a novel and both Patrick
and Cho identify it as "Bleak House" by Charles Dickens. When Patrick
mentions the title and the author it seems that Brett makes the same
labial movements, as if in fact he was just pretending not to remember
the book. Dickens is not a vital clue, however, it indicates some
interest in English literature by Partridge, and Red John is also
interested in English literature (The Tyger by William Blake).

At last, we have the episode 5x22:
this
is the first time we can see Partridge in a crime scene of the real Red
John. And we can see his totally different attitude than that one he
taken in the emulators crime scenes: very serious, no irony and no
desire to tease Patrick. Moreover, when the killer is an emulator, Brett
says that it is John; when the killer is John he says that it is an
emulator. This is very strange: he wants to pass for a dumb, but these
"errors" are too precise to be random. They are few minutes but full of
information: Partridge says to his colleague he handed the Red John's
case since he began to kill, so since before the pilot episode, in which
Brett shows himself excited to finally see the Red John's smiley face
in flesh . But he should have seen it other occasions if he already
handed the case from the beginning. Maybe the writers have forgotten
that line. :P
Nevermind, we know that Brett handed the case from the
beginning and this reminds me of the episode with James Panzer: Patrick
said on TV that the San Joaquin killer was someone who has Themselves
attached to the investigation somehow ... someone hiding in plain sight.
And
even when Patrick made Ellis Mars to be the suspect of the murders in
the episode 3x09, Lisbon said that it's a common psychopathic profile,
classic almost. They seek a part in the investigation, they seek the
spotlight. The analogy with Brett makes sense.
Brett also explains that John is Been laying low for years, working through friends
and
proxies: Lorelei Martins doesn't count, that was an internal issue.
These words are reflected in those of the message of John, who warns
Patrick that he is going to start killing again. Often.
Then Patrick
enters the scene: the air we breathe is totally different from the other
times. Everything is seriously, creepy: Patrick talks with respect to
Brett for the first time, calling him "Mr. Partridge". Brett grants room
and time for Patrick. When it's the real Red John no games and no
"ticktock".

In conclusion of this theory an additional clue that
came to my mind the day after the episode 5x22: Heller said in an
interview that "Red John likes cold."  It seems that this clue has not
yet been deciphered by anyone, but suddenly after the last episode I had
this intuition (which might be a bullsh*t). :D
Well, who are we
talking about here? Brett the partridge But the partridge is also a bird
" and this bird likes a cold climate, if I'm not wrong.

Argue on this theory or rate it.
