Ok, here's what I have so far:
I think it's Brett Partridge and I think Partridge is Patrick Jane's half
brother...here's why:
In the poem "The Tyger" it is interpreted as a response to an earlier
poem by Blake "The Lamb". In the line "Did he who made the
Lamb make thee?"...it makes it sound like the lamb and the tiger were made
by the same "God" but in the show, the mother. Patrick Jane's
father Alex was a horrible abusive man but no mention of his mother at
all.
What if PJ and RJ's mother were one and the same? But while PJ had Alex
as his father, RJ's father was Bret Stiles. Why would they use the same
name, albeit spelled differently, in the same show? So "their"
mother gave birth to them both with different fathers. Bret Stiles is a
con man who founded "Visualize" who uses blood in their
ceremonies. Bret Stiles found out or knew from the beginning that RJ was
his son and that's why he is protecting him. And in the last episode when
PJ says one of the men in the room was RJ, Stiles laughed knowingly because he
knew RJ was NOT in the room.
In the interpretation of the poem they compare the lamb and the tiger to
good and evil. Patrick Jane supposedly good and Red John bad. He
may have grown up in Patrick's shadow (knowing or not knowing they were
related) and was jealous. When he became famous and insulted RJ, RJ
retaliated by killing his wife and daughter.
Angela was also a carny and they ran away together which made her family
VERY upset. Tanner probably teamed up with RJ because they both hated
Patrick.
Also, RJ was helped by Orville Tanner in his
first killing. Patrick Jane's wife Angela's last name was
Ruskin. Ruskin is Scottish and means "from a family of
tanners" Tanners....Orville Tanner. That CANNOT be a coincidence!
There was NO corpse so it was probably staged to make it look like he was
dead. In interviews Heller said it definitely was one of the seven,
making Partridge still a contender because we all know RJ has done way worse
than fake a death.
I think this definitely goes all the way back to his carny days. Plus,
for anyone to know Patrick's "happy memory" they would have had to
physically be there since PJ didn't tell anyone about the 4th of July party.
What do you think???
