The tyger, tyger organization gives a form for protection were the members protect each other. My theory is when Red John saves Patrick Jane and presents the poem, he is either making him a member or he is saying it so that Patrick will know it later. What do i mean? Red John is protecting him and Lisbon. It is just like gangs protect their own people and families in real life. Thats why all of Red Johns friend or the people who has been in the organization has said tyger, tyger to them right before they die. In the last episode when Smith kills Kirkland he say tyger, tyger and that means; I got your back or i will protect you. So when they say tyger, tyger to Patric or Lisbon it means the same; i have protected you or i have had your back.
I am not sure if this is true, but it would explain why they say tyger, tyger to Patrick or Lisbon before they die.
Red John has been there from the start, and Heller has not changed who he is. And if you people are disappointed, that is because you have not heard the whole story yet. I think this will be great. Heller has thought out how this will end since the pilot was written. Its gonna be fun to see the series again and understand and find what clues Heller has put in there.
