Red John has been spying on the team from the first season, why would he suddenly feel the need to bug the office for information? There's no concrete data to support the idea that it was Red John who tried to bug the office and killed Kira, nothing but Jane's hunch, who's been unaware of the existence of the tyger organization. What if it was the tygers who tried to bug the office and Patrick got it all wrong? After all Bertram and Smith were the ones who were desperate to know what Patrick has been doing lately. Red John had no reason to bug the office at this point. The next episode is called the great red dragon, I assume Patrick's gonna learn about the tygers, figure out it was one of them who killed Kira and tried to bug the office. And from there he'll figure out who the real Red John is, Haffner.
Even if it was Red John who killed Kira, it's still possible he set a trap to trick Patrick into believing it's one of the tygers who are on the list. Give the guy some credit, Red Jon is not that stupid to leave a witness half-dead.
I'm extremely angry and disappointed right now. Neither one of these supposedly three remaining suspects deserve to be Red John. Reede Smith?! seriously?!
