My theory is based on subtle hints throughout the show.
Lorelei states that she finds her happiness from "faith"
faith being any theory that defines life, that you believe.
Faith Just like Visualize.
Visualize a group to make you the very best.
Taking any person and making them a enhanced "better" person.
Imagine a young RedJohn recruited by visualize.
Sent to a barn where they were on drugs and grew insane.
What if he first Killed animals there and found he liked it. The drugs made him hungrier for more.
Being in Visualize he has the mindset to be an enhanced person: an enhanced killer.
Now In S05 E13 There were 3 bodies found in the barn.
1 Killed by a girl 2 killed by Red John.
I believe Visualize held information about a 4th person working there(RJ), to hide his identity.
Do you remember how one of the workers at the barn used to be a criminal and then found Visualize and was told to cut off his biological family FOR visualize, Well no one else in Visualize had been told to do so.
Why would you need to "cut your biological family" out of the picture and act as if you have "a new life" ??
Visualize never had such rule. It is completely unnecessary.
His body was apparently at the scene. I don't think it was confirmed.

In S04 E23 Jane hints that RJ wants him to "start a new life" subtle hint or clue.
My theory is that RJ is that man who cut his family off and "died/went missing"
