WTF!!!   I thought they were going to somehow address that whole Malibu-Sacramento discrepancy.  Since when is Malibu close enough to Sacramento for all of those fool-ios to meet up conveniently and then, have them back in Sacramento as the nearest hospital location?  What the crap?

Also, does it mean something that Cho never looked at Partridges face?  Could it be that Partridge used a Tiger Tiger lackey to play his corpse?  I hope they check on him again before he is cremated.

I love what they did with Reede Smith -- had him squeal about everything when the Blake Association turned on him.  I actually felt sorry for him, even has he was tasting the same medicine he used on Kirkland.

Still remaining questions:  Why did they use RJ music when we first met him?  http://thementalist.wikia.com/wiki/Robert_Kirkland  Look under "Appearances."

Partridge is still the only one with the effeminate high-pitched voice.  I feel so sad that Styles and Haffner were blown up (plus the foot).  Sure, they were kind of dicks, but they weren't Tyger, Tyger.  Eh, for McAllister.

Lots of red herrings and distractions -- I hate how the show is only about 44 mins minus commercials.  This should have been 2 hours.  In a lot of ways "Strawberries and Cream" was the BEST Mentalist episode ever, why can't they bring the same awesomeness to bear here?

Bertram is NOT Red John, he is just a high-ranking Tyger/Blake dude on the run.

Was anyone else sad when they were shutting down (our home) the CBI?  So abrupt, so sudden.  The new actor who shut it down seems like a pretty great actor with a great presence though.

Come on, no Whammy, no Whammy, let it be Partridge!!!

Prominent power-wielding director (Bertram) or isolated, creepy, duplicitous weakling secret genius (Partridge)?  Also, he always misdirects whether it is a real or copycat Red John crime scene.
http://thementalist.wikia.com/wiki/Brett_Partridge  Very under-the-surface charismatic.

It's the Sheriff ... and he's the perfect Red John ...

The show has two gears ... It has a lighthearted Agatha Christie mystery of the week side to it ... but it accelerates closer to reality when the Red John case becomes the focus ...

Successful serial killers in real life are invisible nobodies .... John Wayne Gacy was construction worker ... Ted Bundy a small time lawyer ... The Green River Killer was a factory worker ... They killed for years because they didn't stand out ... They blended into the background and nobody gave them a thought ... Not only as serial killers ... Nobody gave them a thought in any way ...

For Red John to be successful he needed to be anonymous ... ( A small town Sheriff ) ... but then he was partially revealed by Janes list of seven ...

Maybe he has found a way to become anonymous again ...

He "kills" himself and  sets up another man to be Red John ( Bertram ) ... this fake RJ needs to disappear so he gives him some money and a passport ... and then he becomes invisible again ...

From the latest promo we saw a glimpse of someone resembles Tom McAllister....Further, when Bertram went to locker room to 'take care of some business' he even used the name 'Thomas' , it's either a sign from Heller or he was taking RJ's belongings...Either way, it's McAllister people !!!

In the preview we hear a voice supposely from the guy in the church. He seems to be above mid-age and grey-haired. I'm quite positive this is Judge Manchester, he has the same rasping voice. Also seems to be alternating between quite low and high pitch.

My guess is that he's the leader of Thyger Thyger, the question is if he's also Red John or not. It would feel like a bit of cheating to have such a character being Red John. There's no evidence so far that he's the mastermind killer.
