Notes from the last episode (The Great Red Dragon):

- Why didn't Jane tell about gunshot at house? It was suspicious. Jane was acting and hiding something.

- Bret Stiles was an important man but when he was dead we didn't see any reaction from anybody.We saw people from Visualize whenever an event showed up related with Visualize even if it was small thing.

- We didn't see Partridge's face while looking corpse.

- CBI Ron continued trolling. (whistling, hey boss thing with Gale Bertram)

- What was the meaning of "The Great Red Dragon" name for this episode?

The promo for 1x08 is really clear; it's McAllister. And Xander Berkely is an AWESOME actor, so this coming episode is gonna be great. 

However, I wonder if we are gonna find out how RJ know the names before PJ did. It's been a really large secret, even larger than RJ himself.

This show is all about Red John. The show became so popular because of Red John. Without Red John its just another cop drama. Red John is the reason why we are all on this website. Thats why I think the writers will give the fan what we want which is Brett Partridge. So I think Partridge will come back somehow and turn out to be RED JOHN!

Bit left field but.. Bob Kirklands twin brother michael is red john. Kirkland told jane about his brother in the episode kirkland died. Why would have kirkland killed that guy in the hospital who knew something about red john in season 5 ep18, if he was supposedly looking for red john himself. When he said "have you ever seen my face before", he was checking whether he knew he was red john. That must have been his twin brother, he would easily get any information needed by posing as his powerful fbi agent identical brother. We were even told by Kirkland that he and his brother were abused as a child, so damaged enough to be RJ. Means he sort of was on janes list, just wrong brother.

1) Why sheriff rescued PJ at the rooftop?
because he wanted PJ to continue "his game", not being blown by some lowlife figure. This shows how strongly he wanted him alive, even though fear of heights.

Remember some theories, that at first seasons "Red John" didn't like Patrick, but in time, he realized that PJ is what makes his life fullfiled and started to like him? That is the change what we see in T. McAllister.

2)The shotgun shot in PJ house?
What I think happened: (we don't see it, just hear the shot) There is a dialogue there, where PJ realizes that McAllister is a red john, T.M makes a move or distorition of some sort, Patrick shots but misses (since he is a lousy gun shooter as we know it), the bomb goes off. T.M pulls the strings so everyone thinks he is the third victim. But PJ knows and Gale knows the truth. Now it's Patricks Final mind game to lure him out and catch him. He knows Bertram isn't RJ, but suspects he murdered his wife and daughter.

The conlusion:
T. McAllister is Red John.
Gale killed PJ wife and daughter.

I'm all ears to your arguments.

Well I must admit that it feels a little weird even for me but it's RON. It has always been RON. Waldo = Kaiser Soze = RON.
I really don't know how I should feel about this but I'm sure it will all depend on the quality of his acting during the showdown with Jane. Oh my God, still can't believe it...
