Okay, after the big disappointment .. here are some thoughts. But I don't know.. ever since we watched the Mentalist the one thing we learned is: never ever trust the obvious..

Does Bruno Heller really wanna tell us that PJ never knew who RJ was before he revealed himself? If so, in my opinion PJ lost to RJ. The whole series was like a chess game. Both of them made some moves to confuse the other one or take some pawn in game out of the way. And in the end PJ still didn't know who RJ was. He just hunted down all the 3 suspects that were left. WOW.. that's very Mentalist-like... all the cases alongside the RJ-storyline were solved with brilliance and true 'mentalism' ... and now he's meeting with some guy who he thinks he might be RJ (and besides tells the whole world about it) just to notice 'oh dude look.. there's some other guy walking up the hallway' .. 'trololol here i am patrick.' ... screw that!!! And here comes my question. Why did PJ look down the hallway at ~24min (before RJ appeared)? Was he just acting with coution or did he wait for the 'true RJ' to show up because he knew neither Smith nor Bertram are RJ? Was he sure that the man with a tattoo who supposedly died HAS to be RJ?

But one thing is sure.. If Bruno Heller doesn't give us a shit load of RJ vs PJ flashbacks this whole series is fucked up. There were and still are so many plot holes, so many clues that don't fit and so many scenes that need to be answered.

The Mentalist Season 6 episode 11 Ending Fan Fic:

After the Blake Association was uncover and destroyed by joined forces of PD, CBI, FBI, Homeland action skips another 2 years ahead.

We're seeing Jane and Lisbon living happy ever after on some beach in California. They have pretty little son named Matthew.
Patrick works as therapist. After harsh 8 hours of work he comes back home, going upstairs and his eyes see a white piece of paper sticked on his door with a red writing on it.

"Dear Patrick, after 4 years of break I've gathered few ideas of my whole new killing style. Whatcha think? - Roy"

Janes enters the room and his eyes are full of tears.

I want to congratulate everyone here, even if you didn't choose McAllister as Red John. Most of us knew after the promo and the Bertram Episode (no way was he gonna be Red John)  that it was the Sheriff.

Which does leave a lot of us disappointed, we were pretty much spoon fed who Red John was in the last episode no real twists or anything. It was impossible for McAllister's body to be burnt to a crisp, he was standing next to Patrick and Bertram and the bomb didn't touch them.

Now us Mentalists (the people who used this site) are in want of one last trick. Something that gives us closure. There is a 97% chance this won't happen, but what if McAllister wasn't Red John? Red John hypnotized him to make him believe he was Red John. One last ditch effort to get Jane of his tracks, through all his right hand disciples at Jane so he can escape. This would mean its like Mashburn or CBI Ron it really wouldn't matter as long as they summed up all the clues and made it fit.

I feel that's the only way to salvage the Red John storyline from a dexter/lost ending. No one expects this now, it would make Bruno Heller an equal to Joss Whedon. An epic ending yet to come, like Angel and Firefly/Serenity. All these recent interviews about finding out who red John is? And the leaked episode (which was the same) an EPIC ploy by a GREAT MAN HELLER.

One can only hope. Unlikely but most of us would love this. Hell I'd even take Partridge as being Red John, faked his own death to be in the clear and is free to continue murdering. Sure it could be two years from now the next episode, Red John may take that long for the heat to die down before committing more murders. Then somehow Jane notices a similarity in one of the new murders, believes Red John is back from the grave (McAllister who its not) and feels like he is losing it/going  crazy.

Please comment let me know what you think, would you like something like this? Like the beginning of Scream 4 we think we knows what's happing 2-3 times but we don't. We need something epic (Wes craven is a tier or two below Joss Whedon for me right now if McAllister is Red John with no more explanation, Bruno Heller is on the bottom of my pyramid.

I just can't get over it. Probably reading some wonderful theories on this website made the episode look even worse than what it really was. I don't know. The fact that some people actually liked me scares me.
Probably Bruno Heller deserve the "How to completely fuck up a successful storyline" oscar.

The mentalist plot:
A famous "psychic" outs himself as a fake and starts working as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation so he can find "Red John," the madman who killed his wife and daughter.

TL;DR - waste of time.

 thanks bruno
