In the series Red John gets people to love him and become dependent of him. But look at us now. We all miss him and are desperate now he's gone. We all want him back so much. Kinda ironic isn't it?

I miss Red John.

I don't understand why there are viewers who are happy to see the RJ saga end before the show ends. The Mentalist began with RJ and it needs to end with RJ. Killing him off this early in the season makes me think that there's something going on behind the scenes in which RJ is still healthy and killing. I hope that is the case because I always preferred the RJ episodes to the regular, mundane, procedural shows. There are tons of shows where cops catch bad guys; that's nothing new. RJ is what made the show unique, and without him (if he truly died), I can't possibly wait to see how this show will fare.

I'm not going to try to prove whether RJ is alive or dead, but all I know is that I miss that serial killing motherfucker.
