Unmasking the assailant and the kidnapper of Grace van Pelt.

The assailant was Donny Culpepper, the man kidnapping Grace van Pelt was Dr. Linus Wagner.
Why?

Because
on the press release both actors were listed as guest-starring(as Culpepper and Wagner), but
didn't appear at all throughout the entire episode, except in the
picture of the suspect list.

You might argue that the picture appearance on the list
alone was sufficient for a credit as guest starring. If that was the
case why were the actors playing Haibach, Volker, Cooper, Ed Hunt and
Buddy Hennings not credited for their picture appearance?

The kidnapper was a rather small and thin guy while the assailant appeared much more muscular. Culpepper has a pretty solid stature, so out of those two only Wagner fits the frame of the kidnapper, therefore Culpepper must be the assailant...

Just finished watching the episode yesterday and would you believe it.................... I didn't like it. How is it possible for a pedophile to orchestrate such murders and kidnapping? Besides what did Ardiles ever do to him? Or JJ for the matter? The guy who came to shoot Rigsby was clearly not Haibach and the person who kidnapped Grace didn't look like his sister at all.............that figure was thin unlike his sister lol. Unless this show has given up on reasonable explanations............. it makes no sense that he'd wait 2 years to go after these guys again.

Now that we've been disappointed yet again, what possible scenario will play out in the season finale?
4 possibilities are open to take place :-

1) Re-birth of Red John and his actual reveal

2) Lisbon and Jane do it on the couch in front of the FBI

3) Jane will wake up from his dream following the bomb blast at his house

4) Jane will wake up in a mental facility and notice that Lisbon and everyone else were just working there, his subconscious made them into police men lol.

5) The birth of the new super-villan i mentioned before............ Blue George.

Erm...so, he kidnapped GVP(easily as surprisingly no armed guard, bearing in mind an assassination attempt on their lives)unless of course the two are unrelated as I can't see the reasoning in him killing JJ and Ardiles...and I know Rigsby has a superman hairstyle, but to be shot like that and still do what he done is a little far fetched, but no different I suppose than McAllister out running Jane for half hour after taking a shot to the gut. Still, a decent episode overall, even if a little bit 'Happy Days' at the end.

Q: if Heibach and his sister were the folks who broke into the Rigsby's, which of the was shot by GVP? Neither seemed to have a shoulder wound...

Yesterday's episode was a nice change in pace. I'm going to say this firmly, however; Not everything needs to be compared to Red John, which in itself brings up a good point. There has never been a villain in The Mentalist quite like Red John, and there will never be one that can truly go toe to toe with the character, so don't expect them to. This episode was great on its own, it showed that the FBI is not helpless with or without Jane, which is important to note, and it portrayed a scenario where Jane's foolproof plan is finally tarnished by someone other than Red John. Plus, it gives the series a sense of continuity by following through with Heibach's previous threats to Jane, something it needed after the first few blunders with the 'New Beginning'.

That said, changing the direction of a show after such a controversial and climactic point in a series so quickly carries with it a huge, huge, huge risk in television, and Heller knows this.

One tweet from Karl Sonnenberg (cbi karl) essentially says it all: "Production meeting time for 622. Written by Bruno Heller, directed by Chris Long. Not giving out the title on this one. #TheMentalist". Come on now, its -obvious- that the title of the finale has some allusion to red or has red in it, just as the many holes in the RJ = Mcallister thing are obvious as well. You really think Heller doesn't realize not one clue, not one piece of the RJ puzzle fits Mcallister? He knows it because this was all planned. This third of season six is nothing more than an opportunity to experiment with the show. Clearly, it isn't working, so they are resorting to the formula that does work; Red John.

One thing that is interesting to note is, at the very, very end of white as the driven snow, Jane goes on to say something along the lines of "you can't see what I really feel". I don't know about you, but that phrase really stuck out to me. Is Patrick Jane really playing the long con to draw out the real Red John? Or, is he naive and in for the second greatest shock of his life? If we are using reason here, then I am and have been convinced that the real Red John is still alive, based on all the information we have in previous seasons. If he is returning, I would personally want them to choose between Partridge, Haffner, and Stiles, since they are the only ones who fit the character at this point. My bet is on Haffner.

StoopKid (aka Stop! Kid...) :

Shit, man, you're just saying shit. You think yourself as a writer? You're so full of shit, randomly mubbling about things nobody cares about, for MONTHS you were like "Oh it will be GVP and Rigsby GVP AND RIGSBY GVB AND RIGSBY"...
and now "OK LOL HAIBACH IS NOT THE KILLER LOL THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE" For fuck sake, boy, you're just the worst attention-whore I've ever seen, there are 6 fuckin' episodes left.
Have you seen the summary of each of them so far?? It's just RANDOM stories with NO CONNECTION between them.
By the way, StoopidKid, if you really cared about your favoriiiiiite shooooow, you should know that next week Lisbon's boyfriend will be introduced.

SEE A PATTERN NOW HERE?? The last episodes will just be FUCKIN' JISBON STORIES UNTIL THE FINALE. That's it.

You know what will be the last episode?? "RAINBOW world", that's will surely be the title. And the story will be some random shitty investigation just to allow the Jibson romance to finally be over, with Jane and Lisbon kissing and leaving the FBI and living happily ever after.

Bullake Shitsociation, Red John vs. the Scary Pigeon... It's OVER. OVER. OVER. They said it. Numerous times. Patrick Jane said it. Bruno Heller said it. In fact, there is only you who keeps believing about it. You, the "writer". LOL. Blow me, boy.

Why would Haibach wait 2 years to seek his revenge!!!!!
His thumb gets cut off and he wait 2 years to do anything? NO.
Haibach started his revenge with Grace Van Pelt
He only started because he was made a suspect by the fbi.

Ardilles was murdered by someone else. Who would want him dead?
This is something to think about at least..
