LATEST THEORIES

Hmm, I'm kind of confused with the last episode.
From the second I
heard the talking clock and the alarm and the countdown thing, I knew
they would trick the time to make the suspects reveal themselves, despite that, it's still a good trick.
I guessed it was the new wife from her reaction when Patrick accused the husband sat on the couch.
Am I the only one ? well there were only 2 suspects so I'm not proud ^^

What made this a good episode :
- Habbot and Jane, argue about psychic power (reminds me 4x03.
- The "Teresa" thing, and Lisbon still calling him "Jane".
- Everyone got his place in this episode.

Finally
I liked the episode, even if they drag it on so long with the state of
Jane's mind, with background development between the new characters (
according to the writing speed, we should wait an entire season to
achieve this).
From episode 8-9, we were supposed to meet the "new
Jane", I feel we still didn't see it. As we know, they wrapped up badly
the red john saga in 8 episode, while there is only 5 episode left until
season finale : I wonder how could they wrap this new stuff in this
short amount of time, and bring us a Real RedJohn ending/reborn at the same time.
In conclusion : we are screwed.

I found some similarities in this weeks episode and Season 3 Episode 3 "The Blood on His Hands".

The episode from season 3 starts out with Rigsby being late to the crime scene because he was knocking boots all night. Van Pelt make sly remark to him just like Jane did to Lisbon this week.

The episode is also about Kristina Freye. She has been with Red John for 4 MONTHS! i wonder what they did with the time? Crazy Devil Sex? Freye calls into a radio show and sounds fine while giving sound advice.
Its funny that this weeks past episode blatantly wanted us to think of Freye. That body of water line automatically made you think of her.

Its weird that some episodes have the word "his" in them. "His thoughts were red..., the blood on his hands, and that those episodes are both Brett Styles and Visualize episodes.
This episode is also the first time Olaughlin crashes into the scene. Red Johns FBI buddy that was sent to check on visualize. He ended up also spying on CBI.
Its funny how Jane is in the Fbi now after all the shadiness coming from that dept.
Did Rj have a lot of Fbi friends?
The rbi was ready to arrest Styles right before his "death". Why did the Fbi want him so bad? He is like the Dali Lama for f sake.

just some stuff to think about. No answers here, thats the shows' job.

Does anyone know the last episode in which Frye appeared?  The one I remember is the one in which RJ takes her from her home at the end of the episode.  Is there another one after that in which she becomes a recluse of some sort, based on what some commenters are writing here?

After hearing wind that the Mentalist may be cancelled at any second now, I just want to voice my disagreement with Heller's choice to reveal McCalister in Season 8 of a series.
At least do it at a season finale, so that way the network will have to renew it to find out Jane's life after the reveal.
I am constantly praying that that was just another whole layer of the Red John story, because, let's face it, despite people claiming they were satisfied, they won't be unless it is Jane himself, Lisbon, Cho, Rigsby, maybe Van Pelt or a character that was killed off eg. O'Laughlin or Bosco. Or of course, CBI Ron. Nobody wants a man who had been discarded from the whole series for 5 seasons. Grrr... Bruno Heller I am pleading that one of the next few episodes proves me wrong. That Richard Haibach twist was such an anticlimax, and you killed 2 good cast members for it?! Please don't let my favourite show die. Not like this.

Does every last shot have to be of Jane on his old couch with his lonely self?  Okay, we GET IT, Jane hasn't changed or moved on ONE BIT [and 2 years later since he supposedly killed RJ and the show's gone in a "new" direction].  Yeah, whatever...

Jane says in the episode [Violets] where we first meet MARcus Pike...that   "The key to a good con is always making the MARk feel that he's in control.  You can lead a man anywhere as long as he thinks that he is driving."  Okay TWO things come to mind:

1) No, I'm not saying Marcus Pike is RJ: he's too young, too new, too obvious.  But I mean -- OF COURSE Lisbon's new love would be with a man whose name translates to RED HERRING.

2) Is this what Jane is doing now?  -- Making SOMEONE whose NAME shall remain NAMELESS think that they are "driving" and "in control" while he bides his time?

In [Silver Wings], Jane says to the Redheaded Female Killer "You needn't be a MARtyr" [when he gives her a pillow]

And then, there's "near a body of water"  and "no such thing as psychics" [definite ALLUSIONS to Kristina Frye]

Oh, how I hate those last minute tease and double entendres now, the bastards...

eliminating the fact that red john is alive or not, that is Sheriff McA or any other. WHERE IS THE PLOT??? There is a plot in these episodes? no! each story is born and dies there, in the episode weekly. We can define this set of shots and lines a TV series?
Money and success are not suitable for everyone.

I'm sorry for my outburst last time. I know I used some bad words for that bully TROLL, who keeps posting here, but I was really fed up with him..From now on, I'll completely ignore that useless person.

Anyway, I kind of liked the last episode..It reminded me of the old days somehow, even if I guessed who the real killer was as soon as I saw her..

It would be so good if they brought back Kristina Fry, that would stir things up. I'm not sure that will happen, but at least after this episode I have some hope that things might get a bit better? I hope so.:)
