LATEST THEORIES

Something very strange happened this season.
A different person got control of this show.
It seems that they were trying to get rid off the Red John arc asap.

Then they set up that artificial "jisbon" thing.
I'm not anti-jisbon, but I see that like a secondary thing, not the "grand finale".

I think hey did it to keep high ratings, they gave sh*t to he porks.

This season not only there were massive plot holes, but many mistakes.

Patrick saying that love to Lisbon while still using his wedding ring was sad.

Question: Why Red John recites the poem 'tiger tiger' Jane in Season Finale of season 2? What was he trying it? Reciting a poem with poetic existential background and risk of its arch enemy expose their network of corrupt cops?

Why Tod Johnson recited the poem to Jane before dying? Surely he thought Jane was a member of the Association and Blake would tell the secrets of the organization to him? Tod Johnson was a follower of Red John, but he knew if RJ recited the poem BA key for Jane?

My theory is that Red John was never part of the Blake Association, or maybe, but he wanted to break it. As part of Visualize did too, and ended up leaving.

Leaving addition, Red John can not be MacAllister (BA Creator), but someone who wanted to get him out of the way and at the same time bring down your entire system of corruption, of course, using Patrick Jane. (And he probably knows that.)

I didn't watch the episodes since the poor RJ revelation episode, but thanks to all your posts I have been kept up to speed. I would appreciate a 7th season told from RJ's points of view over a few episodes but without seeing him (revealing the meaning of ALL the clues throughout the seasons) and at the end of which we would find out that RJ is not who we think he is.. I would just love one more thrill, one more big thing like the first few seasons delivered.

Cheers to all

I hope Jane and Lisbon sleep together and it's TERRIBLE, and too weird, and they decide to go back to being just friends.

WELL THE NEW EPISODE (S6EP22) JUST SUCKED

WHAT THE HELL IS BRUNO HELLER EVEN THINKING WHILE HE WAS CREATING THE SCRIPT FOR THIS EPISODE. ((AND HE REALLY DID WRITE THIS EPISODE I GOOGLED IT UP)) LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS I WOULD SHIP JISBON. THIS IS JUST TOO WEIRD.

THEY HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS NOW. AND THEIR FRIENDSHIP WAS JUST PERFECT. LIKE FINALLY A TV SHOW WHERE THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS AREN'T ROMANTICALLY INVOLVED. I MEAN WITH RIGSBY AND VAN PELT IT WAS OBVIOUS FROM THE BEGINNING THAT THEY HAD A THING FOR EACHT OTHER AND YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT THEY WOULD END UP TOGETHER. BUT NOT LISBON AND JANE.

MY FAVORITE SCENE WAS THE ONE WHEN CHO SAID TO ABBOTT:"Jane and Lisbon? No, I don't see it. They're like brother and sister."

WHEN JANE PULLED THAT STUNT AND THEN IN THIS INTERROGATION ROOM WHEN THEY KISSED, I HAD A FULL CRINGE ATTACK GOING ON. SERIOUSLY. THIS WAS JUST GROSS AND WEIRD AND AWKWARD AND OTHER ADJECTIVES LIKE THAT, THAT HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN INVENTED YET.

SO BRUNO HELLER SHOULD REALLY THINK OF SOMETHING GOOD TO MAKE UP FOR ALL OF THIS SHIT.

this was just my point of view and i would really like to know if any of you think the same way

My seventh sense tells me the reason for the unfortunate turns of events on the Mentalist, including, but not limited to: the lame RJ reveal, the contrived getting Grisbsy off the show yesterday stunt, and the puke worthy hook up of Jane and Lisbon -- is due to Simon Baker.  Yup, that's right, Simon Baker.
My theory is that Baker:
1) wants to be the main romantic lead, working more on chasing skirts than serial killers -- but he doesn't want to lose his status as being "Patrick Jane" by quitting the Mentalist to do different projects -- so therefore, he has to change The Mentalist to suit his interests.
2) Baker's been extremely jealous of Owain Yeoman, who was getting to make out, grope and get naked with Amanda Righetti for years [that's why he probably demanded that Red John send him a chick LOL]
3) Baker's secretly attracted to Robin Tunney, and after the Lorelei love scenes, he just couldn't take it anymore -- the sexual fantasies about Tunney were really starting to get to him....[not to mention he's been married to the same woman a LONG time, which is not easy for an actor at the height of his fame to do]
By changing the direction of the show, and exploring Jane's "romantic side," Baker could get more than just his ego stroked, and the wife can't get mad -- because it's his work!
So, I think Jane kissing Lisbon, and the whole Jibson thing, was like about 80% Simon Baker's doing.  When Heller took on the new project, Baker realized it was the perfect time to influence, manipulate and try to change the direction of the show.  I bet he used the Jibson fan base as proof of what America really wants and for good measure probably fought hard to end the RJ story, saying that the RJ storyline is for "ghouls" anyway.  LOL
HOWEVER, Tunney, on the other hand, I think, doesn't even remotely find Baker attractive, AND loves his family, his wife….and as she has said in interviews she "would like to think she can keep on having dinners with Baker's family" without it getting awkward. [when asked about a possible Jibson hook up by the press]
Welp, unless Jane's doing the longest con in TV history, Tunney's gonna have to have dinner somewhere else because it's ABOUT to get awkward LOL

Heller gave the grandma's masturbation material until next season starts. Is that how a brother and sister show affection? Fuck me but did they not mention before that it's a brother/sister relationship?

And that scene in the beginning with the 5 students will never hold up in court in a million years.
