I remember when the episode leaked, I watched it and couldn't believe it and I even bought the final episode on iTunes because I couldn't wait for a streaming link which I didn't even watch the episode again but simply scrolled through it to sadly be proven wrong, it was the real ending of the Red John story line.

Since then I didn't watch a single second of the Mentalist anymore. Today I came back to this website, i don't know why, and your comments confirm that I was right to stop there.

Just needed to share my still vivid bitterness ::

Mention of Lorelei Martins.. glimpse of hope..yeah.. Yeah.. NO.

The most exciting part of the last episode was me trying to figure out if Abbott is going to have an affair with the CIA woman. That was literally the highlight for me. :D

After watching last nights episode, I still found myself wishing for Red John to return. I get that he is not coming back and that the show is going a different direction, and I don't want to just flame it. 

That being said, I came up with a theory I haven't seen anywhere else and thought I would post it just because: 

Michelle Vega is actually Miranda Martins, who Red John didn't actually kill. She looks similar enough and has at least some character development in the lie she told to go with Cho. 

I highly doubt that this theory is accurate but if I had to pick a way for the show to reintroduce the Red John/Blake Associate/Visualize arc, this would be a fascinating way to do it.

I summed up the courage to watch the episode where Jane goes to Lebanon............ My goodness what has this show become? I stopped after 12 minutes, i couldn't keep watching  because i want to keep whatever good memories i have left of this show alive. It's not about the absence of Red John any more, it's the horrible acting, the plot , Lisbon behaving like a jealous school girl......... She's a grown woman for fucks sake. And what happened to Jane? He lost all his charm, he looks like a guy who just got out of rehab. What a damn waste............. this show had great potential.

The Mentalist has now become so corny that it is hard to watch. When the RJ storyline was active I looked forward to watching the show. Then we were given the biggest series letdown ever with the RJ "reveal" being so unbelievable. Now we have Jisbon, which makes me uncomfortable to watch because it is like a brother and sister having a romantic relationship. YUK!
Bruno Heller really butchered what could have gone down as one of the best tv shows of this genre.

Hello everybody. First, sorry for my english. I read on this website for long time ago, but never submit a theory. Maybe is time. I allways think that RJ is Partridge, he appear at the most of rj crimes, and much more argumens(i am sure that you all know). I realy feel that the final of this season will bring Red John back, or a strong connection with him. The last episode is directed by Chris Long(say wikipedia) who directed a lot of rj episodes. I must to confess that i am not an optimist person but this time i realy feel the hope that something RED will heapend at the end of the show. Thanks for all your theores from this years.
