Just watched the series finale and I'm speechless......what the fuck was that??? Nothing has made sense since S06E08 "Red John"...... I don't even give a fuck anymore .... I've written about the RJ reveal and New Beginning and this Jisbon trainwreck too many times ........THE MENTALIST POST RED JOHN HAS BEEN A COMPLETE FUCKING JOKE..... no explanation of RJ. ......not even a mention .....the first five seasons were all about Red John ......EVERYTHING IN THIS SHOW REVOLVED AROUND RED JOHN............EVERYTHING!!!!!!! The only episodes I can go back and rewatch are the first 3 seasons after the season 3 finale the show just goes to shit........ Complete shit!!!!

All that most of us would like was an eighth season with 13 episodes for the EXPLAIN all the Red John's plot (with a true conclusion). I think the lack of an explanation and a forced conclusion leaves us as we are, yet without believing that the writers did it very badly.

Yeah, OK so they did the unthinkable by hooking these two up with a
nauseating sentimental send-off.  Let's talk about all the extra stupid
sh*t that went on in these last two episodes. 
1.  Lisbon walks into
what could be a crime scene without waiting for back-up. (Obviously she
has forgotten all the rules of the FBI and basic cop training not to
mention her little "incident" with Red John when she was found lying in
pigeon poop.)
2.  The expensive wedding shower and banquet that
Abbott has graciously prepared and went all out to host Jane and
Lisbon's day is carelessly chucked off and abandoned by them without an
ounce of concern.  Right, like a hormonal Lisbon wouldn't have thought
of this.  Oy-vey. 
3.  I'm stopping here because I can't go on
without a vomit bag.... Baker's final scene that he is taking credit for
writing.  "Dude, I have no words.  What were you thinking?  Who got to
you?  Jisboners?  Your wife?  Did you just give up?  Pfffftttt! 
Typical.  That had to be the most ridiculous scene EVER!  I'm going to
go out on a limb here and say that Lisbon did NOT just find out about
her bun-in-the-oven that morning.  All her speeches about honesty and open communication... yep... out the window."

He could give us an amazing end like ;
<Meanwhile in Jane and Lisbon wedding>  Everythings seems fine , everybody laughing and dancing then we see wedding place from a distance and a man with hat standing, facing back like 6X8 end and we hear Redemption OST (redjohn ST) .Cuz he gave everything to Jane.He gave 2 RJ so he can relief after killed these two and he is the only reason Lisbon and Jane got closer.
But i am happy for Jane he found love again

I have been saying since the episode blinking red light that when jane was on tv with another (mentalist) and jane looked at red light something changed within him. He mentions to other mentalist that since he called out red john that rj will kill again. What happens.... Other mentalist dies. Now weeks later myself and others posted on here that pj is rj. Bruno heller than came out with an interview saying that patrick jane is not red john
Heller: I would say that definitively: Jane is not Red John.
Me thinking: Red John is Jane.
There never was a Jane. It has been Red John the whole time.
After a people commented about on boards about rj is pj I think heller got mad and changed the show.
Now fast forward to the finale.
Jane is now in a studio again.
Again he see the red light and this time says to the host something like give me a second or hold on (not remembering exactly. ) to me that is bruno telling us rj= pj. Also i have always thought that rj smile is janes face and at very end jane gives us the biggest smile that he could have. Like i have said and no one will ever change my mind, there never was a PJ it has always been Red John being in character as patrick jane.
