I really have no idea who on the list could be red john but I really want kirkland to be him mostly because for me he's perfect for the role. His character and mannerism are so mysterious and intriguing( also thanks to the actor who play it) .Compare to the other six they fall in comparison. I'd be dissapointed if it were the remaining six lol

But looking from this season and all the clues, I dont think it's him which is sad. I guess he has his own story regarding Rj.

And how much i despise it, reading from all the theories rj is most probably brett patridge which is meh lol

Okay, so I'm gonna watch every episode of The Mentalist and make my own list of suspects (since nobody can trust Janes list). These are the things I'm gonna base my suspicions:

1. Red John is under 6 ft tall or less than 3 inches over 6 ft. (I think that is trustable information)

2. Red John is man. (RJ may not be, but since I'm gonna trust the information above I gotta trust this one too and if RJ is not a man than it's Lisbon)

3. Red John has shaked hands with Jane. (I have to base my list on this, course I couldn't make a list if we wouldn't have seen RJ yet)

Things that I CAN'T trust are:

1. Something that Bruno Heller has told us. (he's brobably just messing with us)

2. Something that Jane has told us. (for example the list)

Bruno Heller insists that one of the names of the 7 suspects is Red John. One of the names. But he did not say that it is one of the people suspected. My theory is that Ray Haffner and Ron switched identies some short time after meeting at visualize.

Seriously, it went too far.
The whole concept seemed to be marvelous, but these days I feel dissapointed.

The whole list of 7. Smith? McAllister? Is this a joke?
Bertram? Partridge? The hidden IQ guys?
Season 5 introduces Kirkland who would be a great choice, but he is another crazy guy who wants to be like Red John or Jane, a huge fan who feels to have a special mission etc. (probably believes that Jane is RJ).
Haffner? I would feel strong dissapointment since he is another guy who was trolled by Jane. And Stiles.. 'the obvious Red John' who couldn't kill a fly to find out that he killed someone in the past. Stiles is important character, he knows RJ for sure.. but he is not RJ!

Season 6 concept... let's choose 7 guys who are going to be slowly eliminated by Red John,
and in the final Jane will be responsible for death of those 7. Probably, some information that Jane had were not truth, putted to mislead Jane.

If I had to choose 'a perfect Red John' i would say:
Lisbon (epic ending, but she was so exposed during the whole serie that it would be too hard to believe), Max Winter, Walter Mashburn, Kristina Frye, Rosalind.
I was thinking about Virgil but nah, exposed lately, same with Van Pelt.

I feel that the creators are more interested in 'let's make another season'
than bringing some interesting characters. Ok, they brought Kirkland, but isn't too late? That RJ shows for the first time in the 5th season? Come on!
Few characters like VP, Rigsby, Cho, Virgil, La Roche, Bertram ... shouldn't be that much exposed! I would not buy it that one of them is RJ!

I'm more than sure that whole Mentalist thing will end as a huge dissapointment.
Heller may say 'Jane is not RJ'.. blabla blabla. We all know that it is possible and some facts still put that character as the first possibility.
