Hats off to whomever realized the Pidgin "lady" is Brett Partridge. I checked the video several times in slow motion and that's definitely a man In loose, frumpy clothing. He writs, hands and shoe size are very large for a woman. The writs look slightly abraded from the zip ties and if you compare the woman's facial profile to Brett's, you will notice they match with the elongated facial structure, pronounced nose. Also, her 'natural' hair color matches Brett's with RED highlights in the wig.

Red John was baited to come out of hiding to listen to what Lisbon/Jane had to say because Jane dropped a hint about knowing something Red John didn't while in Bertram's office.

He's not afraid of birds. The dead psychologist picked up on his growing fear of Jane discovering him. That's the real reason he visited her and what was immediately on his mind.

Patrick Jane

While many in the Blogosphere are distracted by the direct naming of 7(Now 6) Red John suspects, most now seem to be shying away from the possibility of a killer outside the obvious. I believe that the creators of the show are drawing attention away from the answer like a pickpocket does an unsuspecting mark. The art of misdirection has been used in shows for quite some time, now the mentalist is planning to follow suit. While the current episodes blow a screen of smoke, flashing red herrings for each listed suspects, Patrick continues to stay one step behind Red John. At one point in the latest episode, Teresa mentions that it's "like he pulled it out of your head." Maybe the famous mentalist is fighting a battle against himself, which would explain why no one can catch the elusive criminal. I also believe that before Jane began killing, Brett Styles was a earlier version of Red John (which would explain the episode red barn) and somehow passed the duty down to Jane. Jane may be taking the persona Red John to new extremes which would explain his conflict with styles. And that, is my two cents on the matter.

After Sundays episode I'm thinking it's a group effort, not just a single person, the 3 law enforcement agents were in the room when Jane walked in and when he walked out they started talking about "how close jane is" makes me think it's a group. Just a theory.

I used to think that Bob Kirkland was Red John, even before seeing season 5, but I am now leaning toward the theory that Ray Haffner is Red John and Bob Kirkland is his right-hand man.

Visualize:  Haffner is a member of Visualize.  It is without question that Visualize is at the heart of things, especially given the Red Barn episode.  Haffner is the right age to have painted the smile face on the red barn, and notably did not answer Lisbon when asked if he was there at that time.  If I am remembering correctly, I believe that Ray evasively answers her question with a question.

Name:  Also interesting, is the fact that the name Ray ... is very close to the name Roy, which is Red John's alias.

Lisbon's Dream:  In the 2nd episode of Season Six, it is noteworthy that, in Lisbon's dream, although many appear guilty, there is only one that tries to cut her with a knife ... Ray.

Nurse: When the nurse looks for another patient in Lisbon's room, it is not coincidence.  There would be no reason to put it in the script ... it does not have anything to do with the plot, in a direct way.  Therefore, the audience must come to the conclusion that Lisbon is being watched ... Why?  The only reason could be to tell Haffner (who is the next visitor) when he can visit her alone.

Is Ray Haffner Bret Stiles Son? One thing I have also wondered is if it could be possible that Haffner is the son of Bret Stiles.  With the cult Visualize, it is entirely possible that a son would not necessarily bear Bret's name and would certainly add to the drama, as well as the power that Red John has.  It would also account for how Ray (if he is RD), could be so powerful.  They also both have a similar eye color.  Just a thought ...

Guys, please remember what Jane said in one of the episodes (i don't remember season and episode) that the simplest thing solves the cases (problems etc.).  So i think RJ is someone from the first season, because we would figure that out at the moment, but ant the end of series we doubt it for no reasons (or a lot of reasons for digging to far). That just my opinion. BTW sorry for my english, it's not my primary language and i don't use it much. :) cheers.

So, Its kinda weird but, when they had this discussion about the name 'redbird' given to the drone in the last episode, I think they're trying to show us something about a 'bird'. Don't you?

Why the name REDbird?
Why the pidgeons showed at the end?

I'm pretty sure this is something relevant, and Partridge is behind all this.

Walter Mashburn

I have a whole theory, but I`ll make it as short as I can,
by pointing out only the major clues:

1.       “The
night I gave back his ring and told him about Yuri, I could see something crack
inside him”- is what the women who he was engaged with said about him (s03 e
07) -  so we know that he was disappointed by a women that he loved

2.
He has no family, but a lot of friends

3.
He`d do anything for a thrill – so I assume he
started killing for fun, and he preferred women because he wanted to teach them
a lesson

4.
He is arrogant, vain, narcissistic, and he hates
to lose

5.
When he asks Jane “What, you`re a psychic?” we
can easily observe his disgust when talking about psychics

6.
He likes to wear red a lot

7.
When he`s at the CBI, we often can see him
talking with CBI Ron. And Ron is always in the background when Mashburn is there

8.
When he figures out that Lisbon almost took a
bullet in order to save him (same episode 7 from season 3) he`s very surprised;
like he wouldn`t expect that.

9.
He`s charming. He seems the perfect man. Rich,
handsome, smart, willing to make anything to make people around feel nice. He
offers a lot of gifts, so people can easily be attracted to him.

10.
He definitely has something to hide. Jane knows
that.

11.
He had many wives. But when reffering to them,
is he actually talking about the women who he got married, or about his
victims?

12.
That supermodel was willing to kill anyone who
even dared to approach him. Many women are crazy, but still, it is a little
awckward.

13.
The name Wasburn appeared on Sophie Miller`s
list of patients.

To me, Walter Mashbun is the perfect Red
John. Is the kind of person that people can easily love and hate intensily, at the
same time. He is like the darker side of Jane, but equally charming and smart.
If Lisbon slept with him, that is not a coincidence. It is because, besides
Jane, only he has the power to make her “fall in love with him” somehow.
