First of all, I apologize for my English (if I have in mistakes) in advance. It is
not my first language.
So here are my theories:
1) I think Red John is Ray Haffner. He is the only one out
of the 7 suspects that fits the description perfectly. (Under 6 feet tall, has
short straight hair, middle aged, of average built *not too soft, not too hard*, and a good whistler!)
2) Ray mentioned that he was a troubled teen and that
Visualize took interest in him and helped him out. And that is how he learned
all of his tricks on how to manipulate people and be ahead of the game, from
Visualize.
3) Brett Stiles knows Ray’s true identity. And the reason
why he hasn’t said anything about him is because Stiles cares about him. When
Ray first joined Visualize, he must have gotten very close to Stiles and formed
a strong bond with him to the point where Stiles sees him as a younger brother
or a son. That could also explain why Stiles is helping him out with funding
his firm.
4) The “Tyger, Tyger” organization is a group of corrupted
law enforcements.
5) Gale Bertram, Thomas McAllister, and Reede Smith are a part
of the “Tyger, Tyger” organization. So was Brett Partridge.
6) Red John is probably a part of the “Tyger, Tyger”
organization too, but I don’t think any of the three main members (Bertram,
McAllister, Smith) know his true identity nor do I think he is the leader of
the organization. He probably joined them for their power and the connections
they have. And he only recruits certain people into his cult from Visualize,
“Tyger, Tyger, and outsiders as well. They are aware though that he is a part
of them and that is why they are interested in Jane’s discoveries and theories about
him. They want to find out who he is so they can get rid of him because they
see him as a threat to the organization.
7) Red John recited the poem to Jane as a friendly warning
and to raise his awareness to the “Tyger, Tyger” organization. Maybe the other
members have their eyes set on Jane and Red John wants to keep him alive.
8) In the season six premiere, Jane must have scared
Partridge when he eyed him and talked to him. Partridge probably shared his
concerns with the other members and they could sense that he is about to break
and rat out on the organization and that is why Red John killed him. The reason
why he didn’t kill Lisbon is because Ray obviously has a thing for her. He just
dragged her out to the scene of the crime to scare her and Jane so they can
back off a bit.
9) Now let’s come to Bob Kirkland. When he was in the
hospital with Lennon, he asked him if he ever saw his face before to find out
information about his twin brother and to know if he was alive or not. He killed
Lennon out of anger and vengeance. He couldn’t drag him out to an isolated
place and torture him because Lennon was already in the hospital and was held
in custody. And he didn’t want Jane to find out any other information about Red
John because he wanted Red John all for himself. Reede Smith killed him
so that Jane doesn’t get to him and find out the information he holds
about the organization.
10) In the upcoming episodes, there will be flashbacks of a young Red John. The actor portraying him looks like a young Haffner as well. :D LOOK HIM UP.
