"Let's go Tigers" guys know who Red John really is. Or maybe they think they know but he has pulled a Timothy Carter on them. Apart from that, he just fits.

Haffner ... I have a lot of trouble seeing him as someone charismatic or Jane-like. He tried to lure Lisbon to work with him and failed tremendously. And if he is RJ, why would he play being outsmarted by Jane, and pretend that he dislikes him, and on the other hand, be so open about joining visualize, and having this clients in visualize and acting so shady with Lisbon?.
The sheriff is more playful.
Also the idea of Red John having a thing for Lisbon is lame. She is not even a redhead.

Red John is not left-handed. A left-handed person would not paint with his right hand as Red John did on Lisbon's face.

By the way, where did all the blood on Red John's knife come from? Partridge was already dead and his blood almost dried, so the blood on Red John's knife should also have been dried or dropped off while he was waiting for Lisbon to find Partridge. Did he then stuff his knife in Partridge again to get some blood for his painting? Could he not just put his fingers into Patridge's wounds to pick up blood? And how the heck did he call, talk and hang up the phone while his both hands where busy? Since no reasonable explanations yet has been given about all this, perhaps it's just another blunder by the writers!

Not a theory, more like an argument request : Anyone have some good reasons why Ray Haffner is NOT red John ? I mean a SOLID argument against him? ...cause it just feels like everything is pointing towards him.

For the Great Red Dragon theory to work, all 7 people on the list had to be evil and part of the same Beast. It never worked because Bob Kirkland was actually a good guy.

But now its clear to me Michael Kirkland killed Jason Lennon. All 7 of the list are of the same beast.

At 2:37 Michael says "It's OK, I'm heere for you, I won't leeeave you." He's doing a sarcastic impression of his brother Bob, who left Mike alone with his abusive father.

Now that we know the Great Red Dragon theory fits in every single way, its almost irrefutable that Brett Partridge is Redjohn. "One of his heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but his fatal wound was healed." 

P.S Saying that that is bad writing, is not evidence against this idea.

This is for the people who claim that high profile guys like "Stiles or Bertram" could not take sessions from Dr. Miller under fake names because they would be recognized. 

Another angle here: High profile people can easily make an agreement with such a doctor on keeping their name secret in records by generating a fake name. After all, these sessions are made for the individual who's taking them and not for public use (unless the law enforcement officials demand the info with required permissions by the court). A doctor wouldn't miss the chance to heal a patient with such high profile even though she has to keep his name a secret. Her benefit would be direct or indirect recommendations. Think about it...
