I don't believe that Red John is an organization or a cult. It should be one person. Lorlei refers him as one male person "him". Voice of RJ is same in all conversations he had with Jane.

I think that Red John is in the list. He should be in it. Some theories suggest Mashburn or other guys as RJ. So why are NOT they in the list? Why isn't Mashburn in the list?
If RJ is someone out of the list, it means that Jane is not smart enough.
So no need to wacth the series.

The list is legit and Jane is sure of it. Remember he said the list is down to 5 suspects and it is a managable number.

Did you notice an interesting fact about CBI team and Patrick Jane. None of them speak about their mothers...only abusing fathers, it is a the same to Rigsby, Lisbon, Van Pelt, Cho (he was a teenage gangbanger so...) and Patrick. They all come from a damaged background childhood.
Why Patrick in the past retrospectives did not wear a vest? Why now he always wears one?
Why Heller focus so much about mental illness in this show? same to memory and sleep problems to? Why Patrick is in the center of this story, being in the same time a compreensive human being and same time a sociopath? There is something very dark in him, i don´t think for sure he is red john, but i very good candidate...What if Patrick and red john discoverd (whell they are portraited as smart and intuitive) a law enforcement plot, and the list of 7 is all about revealing that plot and nothing about red john? it is possible, but not likely. It is strange but i think Patrick discovered more about red john with the fake list rather than with the suposed "real list".
Well the real red dreagon is Heller :), he was all the power to decide who is red john and what is relation with Patrick, visualize and the Tyger gang.

There are many questions to be answered by Bruno Heller and I feel that these questions don't do any justice to the storyline:

1. Why did Kirkland kill Jason Lennon if he was looking for Red John?
2. Who was that person in Sheriff's uniform who killed Rebecca?
3. Who was the person who played the role of Masked Red John in Season 2 finale episode?
4. How did Patrick Jane shortlist his suspects? By just thinking that they could be in all the crime scenes. That is just so stupid.
5. Rosalind Harker and Sophie Miller say that RJ is a middle aged man, good physique. Why doesn't Patrick Jane eliminate Brett Stiles and Reede Smith. Out of remaining 5, if these both are eliminated, that leaves us with Haffner and Mcallister.
6. Why did Sheriff Mcallister remove his moustache? ( Not much relevance but is important)
7. What is about this "Tiger Tiger" organisation? Why was this revealed now? One more stupid plot.

I am sure that Heller will have stupid answers to these questions. I loved the show, but now it has just become like a bollywood movie.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but JANE is the female version of JOHN, so the "fearful symmetry" would be for Red John (maybe not Rosalind Harker's boyfriend, but the real mastermind, the "psychic," to be a woman.  Kristina Frye has proposed that she is a "real" psychic to Jane, despite his refutations.  She was able to solve a murder with a seance and make you wonder.

She wasn't afraid that RJ would kill her when she went on t.v. -- and she was RIGHT!  She's the first victim, other than Lisbon to escape RJ unscathed, physically.  I have suspected her from the first scene -- seems to smile through her obvious hatred of Patrick.

If not the Partridge, so is the sheriff. Haffner next episode will be eliminated as a suspect, and many people will cry. If it's a list:

I believe in that order V

1 - Partridge (It was difficult now)
2 - Sheriff
3 - Bertram
4 - Raffner
5 - Stiles
6 - Smith

(My opinion)

If not, Bruno Heller changed the script,

And this thing about "tiger tiger" is wrong, I hope they do not spoil the ending. And that Red John is not just a simple member of this organization.

Okay, so some don't think
it's Michael Kirkland who is Red John, but here's why I think he
is! Bob said to Jane that their Dad abused him, Bob and their Mum to the
point where she killed herself with razor blade.

Jane said Bob was the
stronger one, Michael found his mother's body, the trauma became to much for
him to face. Therefore, it caused him to have a break down and create his new
identity - Red John.  Bob said he met a man that could help him,
a saviour, now this could be Stiles that he met, or meant in the terms of his
new identity? This is how he became a member of Visualise

Obviously; Bob
thought it was "Red John" who said he could help him, but maybe not.
Is Bob telling Jane the whole truth, I sensed that he wasn't, he was to
calm and no emotion was shown on his face. So what if Michael was the one
that killed their mother? The first crying smiley? Bob could
be unaware of this, otherwise there would be no reason
to torture those on the fake list, or Bob could have come home to find
their Mum's body, but his brother wiped the smiley face off the wall
and claimed she killed herself?

Also, Michael may have
tried to slit his own throat, causing damage to his vocal
chords, hence the strange voice...this could have left him with a
scar....the writing on the wall He is mar...

Could mean: He is Marred
= Disfigured. So Michael at some point could have posed as his brother, Kirkland
bumped into Jane and said this when they first met:

Kirkland: “Sorry, Mister Jane.”

Jane: “Do I know you?”

Kirkland: No, but I know you.”

What if that was Michael he had a
lighter suit and a beard in all other episodes we've seen I think Bob has had a
darker suit no beard…!

The letter on the wall that Jane
finds after Red Jon kills Charlotte and Angela is addressed as:

Dear Mister Jane….!

Also the picture on the list he
has a beard.

I know Bruno Heller has stated it's someone on the list, but
after all Bob was on the list, he didn't say who or that it would be one
of the remaining five. Michael could have stolen his
brother's identity to make Jane think it was Bob, and then Jane realized
it wasn't. Therefore, Jane thinks it's someone of the five that are left. But
it isn't it is still Kirkland, but Michael Kirkland!

In addition to the theory 7021 (http://www.whoisredjohn.com/See-a-theory-Red-John/7021), I can also add this:

The writing seen on the wall in 1.11, could be the beginning of "He is Mashburn", even if it is supposed to be "man/mar", Jared could started forming the top of an "s" which trailed downwards when he died.

Also, he has great ability in understanding people and defines himself as a person who "hates being ignored, cunning, ruthless, hates to lose", exactly like Red John.

In addition to that, Red John's first crime was in 1998. Around 1997, Walter founded Mashburn Avionics, a company for electronic components and weapons, which he sold and became very wealthy, rich.

Jane also suspected him in one of his RJ suspects list, in episode 5.9 (Black Cherry).
