Does this eliminate the theory that RJ and the "Tyger, Tyger" group are working together? I certainly hope so.
There are so many clues pointing to all on the list that anyone of our theories are all equally valid. I don't care who it is AS LONG AS ITS NOT REEDE anyone but reed, please god. He would be the worst red John. He seems very childish angry, not well composed. I would be so disappointed but it's for that reason I think it's gonna be him. No logic, just that he is the last person I would choose.
My ultimate choice would be Rigsby, wow what an ending. to see him exposed and do a complete character turn would be amazing. The creepy voice and his presence would be the fantastic ending. It would knock our shocks off and be unexpected. it would also make perfect sense in that red john would be always ahead of them knowing everything. Remember red john plays an acting game, he wont risk exposing himself. What better disguise than of the aloof innocent team member.
If the suspect is on the list then my next choice would be Haffner. We need a red john that would do the show justice and the others don't fit everything we have been told. It needs to make sense, the descriptions of him etc. Haffner was super creepy in that hospital scene gave me shivers and Lisbon brushed it too quckly off and made a slight joke that she had to get out of the hospital, but he really scared me. The sheriff is too...country. Patridge is more than likely dead, they told us that so maybe we need to listen. He would have been great too. I really want them to keep the creepy voice, the voice really makes him scary. I hope this is his real voice.
A few other things- Kirkham asked that man he killed in the hospital did he recognise him because he just wanted to see/test if RJ might his twin brother, he was relieved when the man said no. I also read the other theory that that was actually red john, the twin but I don't think so.
finally why do people keep saying that tiger tiger group are against red john, they are with him, Kirkham wanted to kill red john the tiger tiger group killed him. They are together that is why they have s much power. It's red johns group, not separate from him.
Just a thought :
If red john has so many powerful friends who help him and cover for him , then what is great about him ? he just slit someone's throat and paint a smiley face on wall ? so anyone can be red john with that resources and friends .

In doing so T-T becomes the new villain. Lisbon and the team must clean up the T-T group. Rigsby and Van Pelt and soon off the show Van Pelt is part of T-T and draws Rigsby in. They are kill or otherwise shuffled off the show.
Just a thought, but I think that this could have been used if the writers had thought about it:
Jane got close to Red John, VERY close, in the episode where Red John saves him from the copycat killers. So close, that I'm sure Jane probably had a perfect opportunity to get a whiff of what Red John smelled like!!
This might not be a big clue to any normal person, but we know that Patrick has a very keen sense of smell, and smell is the most powerful sense in terms of memory...So, one might think, if Patrick got THAT close to Red John, he might be able to recognize the smell and connect it to one of the 7 suspects!!
Obviously there are some holes in this theory:
-The room could have covered up his scent
-He could wear cologne in his daily life to cover up his real scent
-Being in that costume could have made him smell differently
etc...
But I would think that if Patrick Jane got THAT close to Red John...(assuming it really was Red John who saved him)...I would think that he could have gotten some sort of an idea for who he is.
Other things he could have possibly picked up:
-breathing patterns
-if he got a good enough look at him (maybe he didn't) he could have got a good sense of his height/weight
-his voice/way he talks: he obviously didn't talk normally, but even when you use a different voice, there are usually still some things that stick out

We have to consider how Patrick Jane solves every ordinary case. In most cases Jane keeps his best suspect with him. He does not tell anyone, even Lisbon. Yes, he leads the team to all the possible suspects, and always surprises the team by revealing who the real suspect is at the end of the investigation.
If we will look closely on what is happening with the list of 7, it is just similar with how Jane solves an ordinary case, but this time it is a big one. He intentionally leads the team to investigate these 7 heads.. The question here is whether Red John is in that list or not.
Let us take for instance the case of San Joaquin Killer. He led the team with all the suspects who are serial killers. Only to find out that James Fanzer, the one who is engaged his self in the investigation, is the San Joaquin Killer.
Come to think of it, if you are Patrick Jane. Are you really going to tell anyone who your primary leads are? You are Patrick Jane and you want to kill that monster who murdered your wife and child, are you gonna tell Lisbon your suspects if you know she is going to prevent you from doing so (killing red john)?
