The one thing I have never been able to wrap my head around is that Red John is Serial Killer. Here is this elaborate network of disciples that resembles a mafia family, yet the all powerful leader (Red John) risks it all because he gets his rocks off killing people, mostly women? Also why would the head of an elaborate crime network get so upset because a glory hunting con man like Jane goes on TV and says he is going to catch him? Finally after all this time how come not a single solitary disciple of Red John has ever exposed him? Eventually even the most ruthless Mafia Crime Bosses get turned in by someone close to them.

Here is my theory....... Red John is NOT a serial killer. He is the head of a secret society, and just like other Secret Societies the members work together to support each other. The murders appear to be the work of a psychotic Serial Killer when in reality they are the Societies way of proving if its members are loyal while also giving the society leverage over its members. In season 5 Red John asks PJ to kill Lisbon to prove his loyalty. I don't think the members themselves even know who Red John is. The pretense that Red Johns is a Serial Killer distracts law enforcement from investigating the Society.

I read an interview with Heller, where he was quoted as saying "what will disappoint fans the most is when they realize that Red John is just a man" That leads me to believe that Red John is the very mortal man, Bret Stiles and his motivation is to manipulate Jane into being his successor.

That theory answers my questions.... The killings are NOT the work of a serial Killer, they are all done by Tiger Tiger members proving their loyalty, while deflecting exposure away from the secret society. Jane was chosen by Red John to be his successor, and the reason his disciples never turn him in is because they don't even know who he is.

Please tell me where I can watch the episode and why does cbs do everything they can to make this show unviable

 

What you will read below is just a possibly interesting thought on something I have noticed in
S06E06, “Fire and Brimstone”.





When Jane has all of the five remaining suspects from the
list together and says that one of them
is Red John, Bret Stiles is the first to react,
he says and I quote:




“What!? One of us…? One of us here is
Red John? Oh, that’s very interesting...”


He looks and sounds amused
and surprised by PJ’s statement.




Could that be a clue? Does that imply that the list is fake?

In previous seasons/ episodes it is being hinted that Stiles knows who Red John is, so
provided that Stiles himself is not RJ (and I doubt he is), could we conclude
by his reaction that no one in that room
is Red John?

Okay guys.
I am going to be at the ARMY for six months starting tomorrow.
It means I will have no access to phones,internet etc. for a while and I will probably learn who is red john much more later than yours.

So here goes my theory:
Brett has to be Red John.

Fact 1 :Red John's voice
Supportive :Several videos confirmed Brett's voice is Red John's voice.
Unsopportive :Red John makes Brett to make calls for him.(But "Tyger Tyger" quote whispered by Brett definitely.And after Lisbon has been caught at 6x01 by Red John.The voice is Brett's voice even he has been dead.)

Fact 2:Red John's Seven Suspect List Sending Motive
Why do you think Red John tried to know or guess Jane's Suspect List ?
Because:
You are a serial killer and betrayed by Lorelei.Jane has some clues about him.He acted with great thinking.He knows that he will be one of the suspects of Jane by elimination.It is possible actually if you have what Jane has about Red John case.
There is no trick if you have what Jane has.Even if there is a trick it doesn't change anything.He has to send the CD file to him because he was in his list.
Also don't forget Brett is a cop too.The list is selected carefully who had secret meetings or secret motives.Especially people from "Tiger Tiger Club and Visualize and Bob which is a psychopath".

Fact 3:Red John's Occupation
If murder is an art of expressing yourself for you then
what will you choose for a job ?

Best Guess:
A CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATOR.(Partridge)

 -- Haffner : Will you be a low level visualize member ? Starting a security company with tons of responsibility and meetings ? Don't think so.

-- Bret Stiles : He can always find people to kill secretly if he ever wanted.He is only in the list because of his infinite resources and crowd popularity.Also making a "cult leader" to be a serial criminal in a TV Show has their effects.They will never do something like that.Also everybody knows he is too old to be Red John.But he is the only person who has the power to change people hearts.And it passes to his son Brett Partridge.

--Kirkland Brothers:One of the brothers is Homeland's security agent.The other one is a twisted twin used by Red John.The twisted brother may show himself one or more times later but If there is a mystery here all six seasons of mentalist and clues are for nothing.It makes the show stupid.Especially Heller.I don't think he wants that.

--Mc Allister: A town sheriff who is sitting in his office and joining Tiger Tiger meetings at spare times is not suitable for an artist murderer.

Reed Smith : This is also true for the FBI Agent Reed Smith.Also Real FBI may let a TV Show to have a corrupt low level officer.But they never let a serial criminal to be an FBI Agent for public view. Even in a TV Show.

Fact 4 : Red John's Knows Tiger Tiger
Here is my theory about that (some are stolen)
There has been an organization inside police forces for dirty work.It is a fact now.
This organization is very secretive and message each other with "Tiger Tiger" quote.Bob Kirkland has been killed not because of the  "Red JOHN investigation".
He was killed because he was investigating "Tiger Tiger" club.
Some of the work has been made under the name of "RED JOHN".But Red John is an artist and he never left clues except the Smiling Face.Knowing that the
"Tiger Tiger Organization" made some crimes framing "Red JOHN".
That is why Red John tells Patrick Tiger Tiger poem.He is telling him that he is barking the wrong tree.





--Red John's To do List:
1. Send seven creepy suspects who has
secret and dark motives (including himself.He has to include himself
because Jane included him in his original list.)
2. Eliminate yourself from the list  for free roaming.And also when doing that give Jane some clues to go for Tiger Tiger club.
3. Wait
for Jane to eliminate "tiger tiger club" which Red John hates for
unknown reasons.Best guess is that they copy his job and frames him for some crimes.
4. Elimination of Tiger Tiger club by Jane inside police force.
5. Challenge "DAD".(Bret Stiles)
5. Jane may or may not know about him at this point.It looks like he doesn't know yet.

6. Red John reveals himself or Jane reveals him.
My guess both will happen at the same time.


Heller had to eliminate him at the first episode of season six.
Because if he didn't he has to show him at all eposides like the other suspects.
He is afraid to show him because he doesn't want to give any more clue about him until he reveals himself.

Because many people guessed him correctly even at season 1.
He tried to make new suspects like morg doctor or fake psychic but at the end of
season five he doesn't give them enough screen times to be the main criminal of the show.As a last resort he created the seven suspect list.But even to a kid it was
clear that Brett Partridge has to be the "Red John".It was the creepiest and most suitable for an artist.Brett's death scene is a very detailed scene to the keen eyes.

a)When Lisbon enters He is not completely death.Red john never leaves anybody half dead.Why would he leave him like that ?
        Because Brett is RED JOHN and Brett is not DEAD
b) Lisbon is attacked when she turned her back to Brett.There was none in the room.And if you are Red John and leave the scene in a hurry would you come back for a police officer ? Even if you came would you leave her alive ?
        Because Brett is RED JOHN and Brett is not DEAD
b) If Brett is not Red John and Red John is one of the seven suspects.Brett would tell Lisbon Red John's name.Not something stupid like "Tiger Tiger".
        Because Brett is RED JOHN and Brett is not DEAD
