Why does everyone assume that the show will have nothing to do once they get RJ? I have read this multiple times.

The show has been on the air 6 seasons and only a handful have been completely RJ-centric. In fact my wife and I enjoy the ones where they are just solving a new weekly crime and Jane is messing with people's head. They are funny. Some of the best shows...NCIS, CSI, etc are weekly shows with new crimes. I know Jane's purposes was to help while finding RJ but now he has a work family that hopefully keeps going. JMO

Pretty sure Bret Stiles was whistling the end part of the verse from "Oh My Darling, Clementine"

The song is about a bereaved lover singing about his darling, the daughter of a "49er" (a miner in the 1849 California Gold Rush) -- but also another interesting FOOTBALL theme

The singer loses Clementine in a drowning accident [I have thought there's a WATER theme going on and/or I've wondered about RJ and a FEAR of water]  -- and the singer himself tells that he could not save her because he could not swim

THE LYRICS ARE:

In a cavern, in a canyon/Excavating for a mine/Dwelt a miner forty niner/And his darling Clementine.

Oh my darling, oh my darling/Oh my darling, Clementine!/Thou art lost and gone forever/Dreadful sorry, Clementine

Drove she ducklings to the water/Ev'ry morning just at nine/Hit her foot against a splinter/Fell into the foaming brine.

Ruby lips above the water/Blowing bubbles, soft and fine/But, alas, I was no swimmer/So I lost my Clementine.

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine

How I missed her! How I missed her,
How I missed my Clementine,
But I kissed her little sister,
I forgot my Clementine.

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine

Thank u all for pointing out details such as Bertram bends down twice. Also Haffner shows his innocent shoulder but in exactly the line of dots. And I googled Blake's dragon painting and saw the three loops. Wouldn't have noticed without this conversation.

We've heard Red John's voice before and it doesn't match up with any of the suspects. How will the show resolve this?
Woodruff:
We definitely will deal with that, and I think it's done in a really, really great way that's going to be coming up in [Episode 8]. ... We were very aware of that and conscious of it going forward and in dealing with Red John and [his] voice and all that stuff. So it definitely pays off, and faithful viewers will, I think, be satisfied by it.

I think they're actually saying "In your face Partridge-sounding-like-Red-John believers!" (Or maybe it's just a mislead?). Even though by the end of season 05, I had already made up my mind on Partridge being RJ for different reasons, now I think he's really dead. So I go all-in with Haffner.

I hope they give us a damn good explanation with the voice!

I haven't read so many "ergo's" hahahahaha
Van Pelt the sex addict
but my personal favorite has to be "Cho is in fact a pickle sandwich"

but seriously who do you think the returning
"forgotten" character is? Frye, Minelli, Mashburn?
or something right outta left field

sticking with Kirkland, but less happy about it

Does anyone else think that BOTH of Stiles reactions say that Rj is not in the room, and thus not on the list. His first reaction could have been sarcastic, or surprise, or even an effort to throw Jane off, but the second reaction when he implores Patrick to look at the other tattoos means only one of two things: McCallister is absolutely Rj and Stiles is protecting him, or Stiles is letting Jane know yet again that no one in the room is RJ.
