Listen i respect all the work everyone is doing blaming all of the 7 suspects but the list is a ruse . Do you really think Patrick would blindly investigate all suspects while Red john knows he is doing so!?!? That seems crazy. Van pelt is red john or his daughter . Maybe her father died before patrick made his tv remarks fueling rj to kill his family. Van pelt started the same day as patrick and exhibited great hatred towards him at the dinner scene. Ever since i watched the pilot episode i knew it was her . This show is always showing her facial expressions at times you wonder why if shes just a simple cop on the team. Rj has always been one step ahead and sometimes it seems like magic but its Because Rj has been in cbi everyday! Van pelt is savvy with computers yet Rj always seems to hack only her computer. Jane knew lisbon would tell van pelt about the list and is thus playing Rj. The explains why rj didn't kill lisbon now or at any time in the show because van pelt likes lisbon! And think about this and ladies don't get mad at me. Rj seems like a women. Only women play games like this and hold grudges like rj. Rj has a feminine voice. Van pelt has no history she has dated two killers on the show. We know her dad coached football and the character who said he knew rj was a heisman football player ! I forget his name. Please send your comments because the list of 7 isnt legit . Rj wants the tiger tiger group dead and jane is helping rj do this. Loose ends. By making rj think he is focusing on the 7, the TIGRESS is going to reveal herself !!!

I believe  Grace is Red John
Her sister is Harker Rosalind ( both red haired, similar age and looks). And NOT blind. We are told Red John is male because of her. false info to hide her true identity and would explain a lot.

I believe Tyger Tyger is like a beehive. Queen Bee at the centre of the hive and organisation. the ultimate betrayal for Patrick. She' s been watching him from the beginning.

Rigsby is either stupid or part of Tyger Tyger.

I know this sounds crazy but hear me out. She started the same day jane did. Shook his hand and later called him a sad godless man. She may be red johns daughter or he had a sex change since he is a little crazy. Grace had dated two killers thus far. Bad luck? She is savvy with computers and red john always hacks only her computer! The show seems to show her facial expression more than others and we know how important they are in this show. Especially the time jane is crying and she is smiling. She is into the occult and doesnt believe in jane. We know nothing of her past and if you notice there is something bothering her this season. You can read it on her face when she meets with styles. When rigsby says i love u she replies " i know". Van pelt red john. Red hair . Access to jane and cbi. I also have a hunch that jane knows she is red john and made the list to trick her. Telling lisbon knowing well she would tell van pelt. He is playing chess and winning. Red john wants to take out the tiger tiger people thus why patrick is using them to make the TIGRESS come out of her den and reveal herself. Its a twist and this show is known for them. Watch episode one season 1 and tell me what you think? I also have a theory styles is both her and janes father and why patrick tells styles " i am not your boy".

I think Tyger Tyger is totally unrelated to Red John, but they have been watching Jane because he was getting to close to them while searching for Red John.  I think Tyger Tyger is as clueless about Red John as anyone.  I'm really thinking closer to home, too-someone on Jane's team.

It needs to be accepted that no-one in the list of seven is in fact Red John. At the moment the show has two main issues which require resolution:

1.  Who is Red John; and
2.  What is Tyger Tyger.

The nature of the show is such that these have to be interrelated. So, a third question requires resolution as to how they are connected. This theory will seek to address these three issues.

Firstly, it is suggested that Tyger Tyger is a group either controlled by Red John, or which Red John is an individual (senior) member of. It has been shown that members of the group have no qualms about killing, so either would fit.

Secondly, the first point has largely answered the second main question. Tyger Tyger is a group of law enforcement personnel who have been brought together for a common goal. What that common goal is is unknown. However, it is submitted that it is likely to do Red John's bidding. This explanation would very simply explain how Red John seems to be an omnipresent, omniscient, phantom-like person, who never leaves a trace, who never fails, and who possesses a skill set almost unbelievable in breadth and depth. Red John as a controlling force also explains why so many people are willing to abandon the oaths they swore when taking up their jobs - it cannot be denied that he is charismatic, if nothing else.

Who is Red John? This, as one would expect, is the biggest conundrum. However, several points can be made about this:

(a) all evidence as to identity should be regarded as unreliable.

No evidence has ever been separately corroborated. Thus, facial descriptions, voice descriptions, height descriptions, phobias; everything, could merely be the traits of a multiplicity of servants working for Red John. 

This means that the list of seven, derived from Lorelai's comment, could mean nothing; it could mean that the list is useless. It is clear that the tattoo is nothing special, as three of the above seven have them, as do many more people.

The point is, that someone as cunning as Red John would be more likely to deliberately plant evidence that to make so many vital mistakes.

(b) The reveal has to be shocking

The build up to this has been immense. To merely reveal Bertram, the Sheriff, or even Partridge would be anti-climactic.

Further, as stated above, the nature of the evidence revealed is such that it would be entirely plausible for it to be another person.

(c) Who planted the bomb?

If it was one of the six people in the room at the time, then Red John is either very confident of his physical ability to withstand a blast, or was not there. This means, the bomb was planted earlier and RJ escaped, the bomb was carried in by one of the 5 and RJ escaped, that RJ is not one of those people, of PJ planted it. All are plausible.

(d)  Some possibilities

I know that many people are reluctant to state that one of the CBS team is RJ. However, it is submitted that this is very likely, or it is likely that someone who has been involved from the very start has been involved. It must be remembered that this reveal has been years in the making.

It would make sense for RJ to be a master puppeteer, controlling an entire scene from the background, with the stinger for PJ that they were along for the ride the whole time. So, we need to find out who controls Tyger Tyger and I think we have a strong candidate... this is not any of the three list suspects with tattoos - they are soldiers.

(d)  Does PJ know more than he lets on?

It is a very real possibility that PJ has known from very early on who RJ is, but is playing a very long game (ten years) to ensure that he can catch and kill RJ, and/or do as much damage as possible to him/her.

(e) The solve

To solve the mystery, it needs to be ascertained who has been in the show from series one. All the regulars, including van pelt, fit this bill. So, it could be, Cho, Rigsby, Van Pelt, Jane or Lisbon. Of these only the former three are likely, and of those van pelt is the most obvious. She is very clever, has red-hair, and has the computer-smarts to pull it all off electronically.

Of the three suspects listed, one approach would be to identify the appearances of RJ in person, and see where they were, and what they were doing. It is suggested that at least some kills attributed to RJ would be personal kills, so an absence at such a time might raise suspicion.

If it is not a main character one could go through the cast for each episode and see whether there are multiple appearances from a person who isn't main. Hopefully Heller was setting this up the whole time, so there should be easter eggs to be found. It is also possible, though unlikely, that some people have not been named for their role to prevent this.




The upshot. Stop focusing where we are being told to focus, and think outside of the box, just like RJ and PJ do.

I am not sure who is Red john yet. I see many reaction on the twin Brother of Kirkland, but as kirkland said he seen his brother dead. (So big change he is just dead) About Sheriff McAllister I am not sure ether, cause in the end he does not look like the intellegend guy that could have planned al this.Next to that there was a discrubtion by the blind girl friend of Red john, and that did not look like Mcallister. In the end of the scene Red john was drinking tea when looking at Patrick on the camara, the only person that can enjoy a tea like that in the show, is Patrick or Stilles, with there mental powers)

There is a change that Red John is not from the Tyger Tyger group, but most be really smart. We know from the discribtion from many episodes that he is a man, and he should have quit handy computer skills. A big suprise would be if Red john was 24/7 there to observate Patrick, and that why he knows so much about what he is doing, if this is true then Red John is somewhone from the CBI, and even thinking it is a man, what if it is a woman, and the only woman with that kinda computer skills, be able to hack te system all the time, trying to confince us about that spirituality excist, and trying to confince us there are people that are more then just human but there people that can see things, not telling rigsby that she loves him, been away on a computer course so she had time to be red john, And from the CBI team it would be a Suprise if Van Pelt would be red john.

This mean that in the end of the episode, Patrick has got quit closer to all of the team, and then he gets to the moral question if he should kill a person that became a close friend of him or not. *And if he does, what will Rigsby do, will he kill Patrick for killing his wife red John, or not because he understands"
