Yea I'm starting to think it's going to be jane as red john. To add to the previous theory about the split personalities, Do you remember the one time " red john" has in the chair and says supposedly roll tide, the poem and that stuff? Well how do we know for sure that scene is factual when patrick tries to wiggle out of the chair just before that and hits his head off the ground? Watch that scene. And let me know what you think
Okay, I can't believe I'm writing this -- and I'm going to further develop this theory later on but for now just want to say that THERESA90's post got me thinking: she's makes some great points. [though I have never loved the split personality plot -- Jane could be something like "A Beautiful Mind" schizophrenic/sociopath -- a brilliant man who shuts himself off from his killer side]
For all these years, RJ knows about Jane but Jane doesn't know about RJ -- but RJ wants "acceptance" by Jane -- meaning that RJ side of Jane has been trying to emerge for years, but Jane doesn't want to see this side of himself. So, Jane had to kill RJ -- but since it's himself that he can't see -- he had to "project" this onto someone. McAllister
So, I listened to conversation Jane had with McAllister right before Malibu. McAllister, in Napa, was about to shoot a deer from his car until his phone rings. Jane is calling him.
"This is Sheriff McAllister"
"Sheriff, [it's] Patrick Jane."
"Hello Patrick, how are things?"
"Good, good. I'm calling because I had a question"
"Shoot"
"Last month when I was in Napa, you said you were at my disposal"
"Yes, I remember"
"Did you mean what you said?"
"I like to think I'm a man of my word"
"Oh, I don't doubt it"
"But can I count on you for your help. Can I count on you?"
"Of course"
"Thursday night at 8 o'clock, I'll need your help.
"Then you got it."
"Thank you. I'll let you know where to be day of"
"Patrick, this is about Red John, isn't it?"
Whole conversation is a double entendre...and it's all to McAllister's detriment! Here we are suspecting McAllister and he's the damn prey!!
1) McAllister was a "man of his word" -- Jane knew he could use him if he needed to
2) Jane asked for "his help" and McAllister helped Jane to set the stage in his Malibu house
3) McAllister said "Shoot" and Jane shot him
4) Jane tells McAllister you're "at my disposal" -- Disposal means=to get rid of something. Jane disposed of him
YES, Jane could COUNT ON McAllister, indeed! Jane was counting on McAllister to be RJ for him!! And it worked. Jane won, for the moment.
The McAllister in the church wasn't the same as the McAllister in the car: one was under the influence of Jane's hypnosis -- of JANE TELLING HIM THAT HE IS RED JOHN. McAllister played a part. He was a STOOL PIGEON! Pigeon is a great clue...but not because Jane used McAllister's bird fear against him -- BUT because everyone on the LIST was in danger of being RJ's "stool pigeons"
What's going on with him ?
He looks tired, cho noticed he's going crazy.

If you want to watch something good, start watching The Guardian with Simon Baker. Yes, it was filmed 10 years ago, but at least you can see there that he still gives a shit.
In the new Mentalist episodes it's so obvious that he doesn't care about it at all...It's painful to watch. I'm saying it now, there's absolutely no way the show will have a 7th season. The acting is gone downhill since the shit Red John episode. I'm not sure I wanna see more of this crap, they are just tagging along without any passion. It's very sad.
Why nobody suspects him? Because he is the main actor, cute, sexy, too positive to be a serial killer we hate at the same time....people, think about it.....
- Do you think Oscar dies just because? Lisbon said she has a date with him as a joke in front of PJ and guess what happens next.....Jane jelaous , Oscar dies..not for the first time that the persons who want something with Lisbon die right after PJ finds out.....
- What do we see in this season? Jane and a LOT of women going around him....Lisbon, Blondie, Fischer....Isnt RJ the charming one who can have any woman he want?
- And again.....Jane mentions to Blondie....nobody knows who i really am.....and that is something we dont hear for the first time....
-What if Mcallister was hipnotized by PJ? Or was a sacrifice for PJ (RJ) who wanted to get possible clues of his back?
- I dont say that Jane has a bird phobia but i noticed he is not comfortable around them, also he is afraid of heights....
- The dead psy? Well one thing i know is that when someone has 2 personalities he doesnt know about his second personality....so if PJ was there his RJ personality killed her and she was talking to the RJ personality...she probably wouldnt say to PJ...you have a RJ personality in you too....she was going with the flow and pretending to be talking to 2 persons like she never met them before...to PJ and to RJ...
- In Sophie Millers description Rj is described as a person with no living family but he has friends on wich he relies on.....so for me even this indicates on PJ...
- RJ has a narcis personality.....never saw that in TM....but is Jane a narcy? Yup...
- AND SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT.....I WAS JUST NOW LISTENING TO THE TAPE....IT IS CLEARLY SAID THAT RJ DEALS WITH THE FEAR OF HEIGHTS? WE CLEARLY ALSO SEE THAT PJ IS AFRAID OF HEIGHTS AND THAT MCALLISTER IS NOT....I THINK THAT THE FEAR OF BIRDS WAS MADE UP BY PJ...PJ SAID THAT RJ IS AFRAID OF BIRDS....
- MCALLISTER WAS OR A RJ (PJ) DISCIPLE AND HE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO DIE TO PROTECT THE REAL RJ (PJ) AND GET HIM OF THE HOOK....OR MCALLISTER WAS HIPNOTIZED BY PJ WITH BERTRAM AND WAS ORDERED TO COME TO THE CHURCH.
- PJ GOT AWAY FROM JUSTICE BECAUSE HE KILLED THE FAMOUS MURDERER
Here are some things i would like to point out from the previous seasons,episodes....
...in the season 4 where Jane is talking to Lorelei she says why did they never became friends when they are so alike...i did not see anyone soo damm alike to Jane in the episodes
...and the face RJ drawns with blood is just like Janes face...
...why there were no RJ killings while PJ was in Las Vegas for 6 months...
...how the hell did Lorelei found him in Las Vegas?
....why was exactly the CBI dude Luther Wainwright the one who got caught by RJ...if i remember he and PJ were insulting each other the episode before...and RJ does not like to be insultet in any way..so LW ended up dead...why it was not hmmm...Lisbon? Because PJ likes her and think as a friend/crush
...and now you will ask me what are the other suspects doing in the series...and i wil tell you that they are nothing but distractions...just to keep us away from Jane in the first place....and on the other hand doing misunderstandings with PJ s mind...like for example the girl in the graveyard was sent from a disciple just to mindfuck PJ and the person with the baseball hat could be any of them...
....in the series we can see that PJ is very good at faking things...from his mental acts to his behaviour...like when he was in a verbal fight with Luther, even Lisbon believed all of that but it was just an act....
...somehow RJ is always one step ahead of PJ...wich is impossible...he knows his every move, his every tought and his every trick...
...when PJ lost his memory he was a complete different person....
...nobody did not know about the meeting between Gale Bertram and PJ....
...how did RJ knew that PJ is going to the graveyard just when he saw the happy anniversary note on his car...PJ when arrived there was not looking around for RJ, but he was looking in the graves, and why he hipnotized the girl and said to Lisbon RJ could kill her...he could instead leave her go and follow her...
...also there is a big black hole in the series when James Panzer was killed by RJ...it was a great moment for PJ to follow Panzer privately just to get in trouble with RJ as he always did before...but this time he didnt....
...why is PJ keeping all the sudden everybody away from RJ...ok, he says that if anybody talks about RJ ends up dead...but i think there is something behind that....i think that PJ usually wouldnt care that much about others and that he would try to set a bait for RJ in that way....
....why didnt RJ take for example Van Pelt, or Cho, or Rigsby in the limo but exactly Luther wich PJ didnt like so much...and why is the group VP,Cho, Rigsby and Lisbon safe for 5 seasons now...
...why did RJ wanted to "have fun" with Darcy instead for example Lisbon wich is also helping to solve the RJ case with PJ...
...how come that Christina Frye is alive but was in contact with RJ....he hipnotized her wich is the thing Patrick does...and PJ does not kill her as RJ because he liked her..
....the voice in the limo sounds like PJ...
...."does anyone know who you are?"...charlotte asks PJ while halucinating...
....i am just not sure if PJ is RJ frome the beginning or it is half Timothy and half Jane...
...i think that when RJ was thinking it was time for him to approach was the time in the mall..because he knew he has done his job but wanted jane to continue it...so jane with the mental disorder did so...but when the Jane persona was more powerfull in his head than the RJ persona then the disciples and the clues where there to mess up janes head again...
...and whats with the happy memory thingy only Pj knew ;)
.. Also Red John guessed all the suspects correct which is impossible since how would he know which people did Jane shake hands with.
...Its feels like Jane is Red John. Whether its a case of multiple personality disorder perhaps..
First of all; let's imply Red John is really dead and they are not gonna bring him up again this season...which i am pretty sure it is that way;
HOW in the world are they gonna end this (maybe even last) season of the mentalist?
I only can see one possibility left: Pj finally getting involved with lisbon.......................... I mean it's all great if that would happen, BUT seriously not worth a season finale.
I dont see many options left how they will end this but I'm open for everything if you got any ideas.
and once more; i really like the idea of Red John coming back...but that's probably not happening....so what's left?
I am starting to see where people are coming from when they express dislike for the "new" show.
It all seems rushed awkward and flat out odd. Fisher is a robot, very Gvp-like. Wylie goes from not knowing how to speak to calling shots and calling cho like they are bffs. Nothing has been explained or even talked about from two years ago. Visualize , janes house, red john, etc have not been even brushed upon.
The main reason why i don't mind all the new weird stuff is that i know its temporary.
Its all gonna fall apart and cbi will reopen for business .
Jane is using the fbi and vise versa. It wont end well.
Rocks will be turned and heads will roll.
Jane demands means janes got plans. And i think its more than just going back to work and seeing lisbon.
