It's Patrick Jane under the influence of Bret Stiles.  The show is called the "Mentalist" which revolves around hypnosis and keen observations to a persons behavior...
1.  Jane has proven to already have been mentally unstable (had a breakdown)
2.  Red John is afraid of heights, Jane was "bitchin up" when he was on the church roof
3.  Bret Stiles seems to always know when Red John is about to strike/has stricken
4.  The bloody smiley face has Jane's eyes
5.  If it's anyone else, I've wasted six (6) years of my life

Patrick Jane wanted Redjohn to kill his wife like he wanted Redjohn to kill Panzer!! What an evil thing to do!! He paid the price when his child got killed :( He didn't plan on that :( silly jane

I'm convinced that Red John is Patrick Jane, the phone calls that he is receiving are recorded by himself, we never see patrick talk when Red John calls him, he only listens.
From season 1 untill now he NEVER answerd back to Red John.


Patrick Jane is Red John

Red John wants Jane to unearth the 'Tiger Tiger' group. Only then will RJ reveal himself to Jane. Red Johns accomplice will be Van Pelt, who will kill Rigsby, Theresa and Cho.
And finally Jane will realise that he is Red John!

If you inpect carefully the Pj you can realize him that a schizoid person. so i think RJ is Pj. or Pj is Rj :)

Patrick Jane is Red John.

Actually he became Red John when he killed the original Red John at the end of Season 3.
That really was Red John, and Patrick really did kill him.
Then Season 4 reveals that it wasn't really, perhaps just an accomplice.

I believe that the act of killing RJ caused a psychotic break in Jane, creating multiple personalities.  And Jane became Red John.

It's a common theme among cop shows that Revenge is a terrible thing, and it never really satisfies you.
