At the time that stuck with me as creepy but she said he's a good whistler so that's gotta be the reason heller made him whistle. Bob Kirkland could be Rj but I thought it was ray since the end of last season. I think eventually Lisbon will remember him whistling leaving this hospital room. Either way this is gonna be a great season!

The fact is, only 3 men we saw Jane shaking hands from the 7 suspects:
Bertram, Haffner and Kirkland. At the 5x08 Lorelei told Jane about the handshake, that was really big clue! Sophie Miller said, Mr. Roth has short,
straight hair, well pleasant appearance and he has some kind of phobia.
She also said, Mr. Roth is mid 40 ages. We got the biggest clue now next to the handshaking, that's a phobic!!!
Yes, I agree with you, probably Red John has an ornithophobic. At the beginning of the actual episode Patrick said: "Maybe something spooked him and he couldn't go through his usual routine."
I don't think RJ fear from the 666 number, but this is the alternative possibility, beacuse that is also kind of phobic (Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobic).

Bret Stiles, Sheriff Thomas McAllister, Reede Smith are out of the picture, because they didn't shake hands with Jane before. Sheriff and Stiles over than 40 years old by the way. Bertram hasn't got a short, straight hair and he responsibe for get information the Red John investigation (said Smith).

So, only left 2 suspects: Kirkland and Haffner. We heard whistle Ray Haffner, therefore my guess he is Red John. But, I'am absolutely sure Haffner or Kirkland is Red John!!! One of them, believe me, this is 100%!!!

I think, my theory isn't bad and based on logical, connected information

Ask yourself this: Why didn't Red John kill Lisbon yet? Or, why hasn't Red John killed Lisbon before? He always talked about killing the people Jane love most. 

A logical reason would be Ray Haffner, who also has feeling towards Lisbon. He is the only one out of the 7 suspects who knows Lisbon. 

He has connections,power and is a member of Visualize. He also fits the description of the recording in 6x02.

Red John is left handed. He holds the blade in his left hand and teacups. If someone seen on of the seven suspects being left handed, please tell! I think it might be a big clue.

All the clues we have with Red John fits Raymond Haffner. Should it be so obvious? Trick maybe?

Guys, I have a theory for you and it could be a big one:

In the episode 6x02 we can listen dr. Miller's description of Red John, that she met as Jay Roth.
There are a lot of details and I think that the whistle stuff is the one which most people has noticed.
But I think it's a distractor clue (three suspects whistled on the episode).
I think that the real big clue is the phobia stuff.
Mr. Roth mentioned the acrophobia, but dr. Miller was not convinced; she said he has some kind of phobia, but she doesn't know which one.
Well, that's the point of my theory:
the pigeons!
Red John is ornithophobic, so he is scared of pigeons!
At the beginning of the episode 6x02 Patrick said: "Maybe something spooked him and he couldn't go through his usual routine."
The pigeons! The pigeons spooked him!
There would be some reason why they appear in episode 6x01 and also in episode 6x02; and in this second case, Patrick stares on them like he was thinking about this possibility.

Now, why I choose once again Haffner for this theory:
because he fits the description, yep, but there is another reason.
He said to Lisbon: "I like you, Teresa. I really do! And one of these days, you and me... we'll have the time."

It sounds like he wants to remedy to his first chance with her on that abandoned house. Plus, Red John caressed her cheek while drowing his mark on her face.
So, if I'm right: find the one who is scared of pigeons (or birds, or feathers) and you'll find Red John! And if I'm right, that one will be Haffner.
