THE THEORIES

After re-watching the season 2 finale, the last thing Rj says to Jane before leaving is "roll tide"
This is what the waiter said to Kristina Frye in an earlier scene. Here is the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvB0p6qo_TY&feature=youtu.be&t=50s

"Roll Tide" is the rallying cry for the Alabama crimson tide which is the collective name for University of Alabama's varsity sports teams.

Now, lets think about which one of our 6 suspects is also a former athlete?

The only one is Ray Haffner as he was a former football player and he even has an award in his office!!! I wouldn't be surprised if he was an Alabama alumni...

It seems unusual to me that RJ would say something random like "roll tide" to Jane unless of course he also had a connection to "roll tide" which I just pointed out above.

Haffner also has the charasteristics of being RJ since:
He is a visualize member
He is a good talker and is charming
He is good at surveillance techniques and is a former CBI agent which explains why it has been so difficult to track RJ
He also seems to have feelings for Lisbon which would explain why he hasn't harmed her yet/

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AND COMMENT BELOW!!!!!!!

Please keep in mind Red John is the type of guy women fall for. That means good looks and good social skills. Kirkland lacks basic social skills, he wasn't able to carry a simple conversation with Lisbon. Bertram doesn't have the looks. Smith looks like a cute teddy bear, but not a charming man. I bet he's enjoying being a Red John suspect! Stiles has the skills, but he's just not the Red John type. Haffner and McAllister both make a great Red John. In light of other data I'd go with Haffner. I'm a %100 sure it's either McAllister or Haffner. How do I know that?! Lets say a good friend who wasn't willing to share the whole story with me.

- Spoilers Ahead - The clue that Bruno heller was referring to is 666 the number of the beast which red john possibly uses to hypnotize his accomplices thus making them unable to reveal his name now considering that the sea beast is red john read this " And that no man might buy or sell save that he had the mark or the name of the beast ( his real name ) or the number of the beast " meaning that his accomplices can't reveal his name unless they had his mark or his name or his number which still sounds confusing it's also still interesting that heller chose the last suspects as 7 ( now 6 ) which is the number of the sea beast heads this supports the theory that red john is not one person but a group of people but it's unlikely considering what's been revealed so far personally I believe that brett partridge is not dead and to further support that read this " and I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death and his deadly wound was all healed and all the world wondered after the beast " and maybe one of the seven heads is red john while the others are his accomplices which he cannot operate without them as to how red john knew about jane's happy memory it's because of jane's therapist which will be murdered next episode this could also explain the carnival theme in Lorelei death scene and painting a clown face on Lisbon maybe she told red john that clowns ( or maybe a particular one ) were a bad memory of Patrick as to Bertram and Kirkland suspicious conversation last season it's probably related to something other than red john Bruno heller said that Bertram could be either a good or bad guy with agenda so he is somehow deeply involved in a cbi corruption case which would make up the remainder of season 6 after red john saga ends . To cut it short red john name is related to the number 666 and to be more precise it is also also mentioned in revelations his number is his name so maybe it's related to the alphabetical order in which the sixth letter is f and the only suspect who has the letter f in his name is Haffner this is of course pure speculation but I think red john is the one of the last suspects to be investigated by Patrick which excludes Bertram reede smith mccallister partridge ( two of which will make an appearance next episode ) which leaves brett stiles ( definitely related somehow to red John ) Bob Kirkland ( could either be red John , chasing him , or a close accomplice or even involved in the cbi corruption ) and Raymond haffner - I'm 100 percent sure of what I wrote next there is no other explanation - in addition it is also mentioned in revelations that there are two beasts the sea beast and the one who speaks like a dragon the sea beast is red john while the dragon is his right hand ( possibly one of the remaining suspects other than red john himself ) the dragon can act as the sea beast when he's absent and it is his responsibility to ensure that everyone has the mark of the sea beast on his right hand or his forehead ( the red glass bead ?? ) this would make sense if the dragon is red john right hand and there's an episode ( episode 7 I think ) is named after him and the episode after it is named red John so his right hand will be revealed in episode 7 and red john will be revealed in episode 8 to support that further it is directly mentioned in revelations that the dragon gave the beast his seat and his power and great authority meaning that the dragon is the one who provides red john with everything he needs and the most plausible suspect here is Brett stiles (he will feature in the episode before red great dragon along with Jason cooper whom Jane will investigate and reveal stiles true role in the next episode ) who in my opinion is the most powerful character in terms of authority and it is his responsibility to ensure that all visualise members have red John mark so my final guess is red john " powerful " friend is definitely Brett stiles and Ray Haffner is red john while partridge at this point could be either alive or dead thanks for reading and I apologise if most of what I wrote is contradictory

I found a very interesting thing: the title of the episode 6x07 will be "The Great Red Dragon."
Maybe some of you have already figured out the crux of the matter, but for those who had no idea what I'm talking about, I'll try to explain everything.

From what we could tell, Red John is not a believer. Not in the traditional sense, at least. But he could have his own conception of religion and it could be the same as William Blake; this would also explain the frequent quotations from the poem "The Tyger".
"The great red dragon" of the title that I mentioned is indeed the dragon that appears in the book of Revelation. In the same book there is the famous number of the beast, which in this case maybe would not be so random in the sixth season premiere.
But what does William Blake have to do with all this stuff? Well, Blake was also a painter and he has painted "The Great Red Dragon Paintings" (you could find it on wikipedia).

Now, I'm not an expert on Blake, but just reading the wikipedia article about him, we can get an idea of its strange conception of religiosity.

I believe these are links rather concrete and then Red John may have been totally charmed by William Blake's philosophy, so he started his activity, which is not limited only to the serial killings, but also to put in place a mission of "love and enlightenment".

Another detail: the book of Revelation is attributed to John, the apostle.
So maybe the choice of the name "Red John" comes from here.

If so, the "Apocalypse" began when Patrick has got the list of the seven suspects and has started the final challenge has started. So Red John will likely try to complete his plan, whatever it is.
And it may be that his next victims, starting from Partridge, may symbolize some other influential figure in in the Apocalypse of John.
There is also another interesting detail, the description of the great red dragon in the biblical text: "And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads."

"Seven heads"... seven suspects.

Now I strongly hope that Red John has not "transformed" Lisbon in the "Woman clothed in Sun"... because this would mean that now Lisbon is pregnant by Red John.
And I think Haffner could be the one in love with Teresa, so I chose his picture for this theory. But it could be each of the suspects.

Some More questions to ponder.

If Bruno has stated that RJ was determined all along isnt there no way he would have guessed this would have gone on even past a season or 2? So could this mean that RJ has to be someone from season 1 or so whether that means he was in focus or out of focus in the episodes? But it certainly has to maybe eliminate these characters that were not introduced until later seasons? I dunno what is everyones thoughts?

I guess with this you could possibly say that they could have been in first couple of seasons but not introduced or brought into bigger picture until later seasons as their present characters?

If Partridge was trying to tip Lisbon off to who RJ is by tyger tyger than what could this tell us? After re watching the scene where Kirkland kills the RJ friend hes way to obvious to actually be Rj himself. I suppose Rj being the powerful and brilliant mind that he is could perhaps show himself without showing himself and I mean someone this brilliant how could they not alter their image and imitate to fit in
