Is there already a canadian promo of the next episode 'Red Listed' ?

Haffner is my #2 suspect. Now this is not a theory, but an observation. Maybe some of you can share your insights on this. 

Lisbon dos not share important pieces of information with Jane (whereas she gets angry when Jane does not share information with her) or at least there are are some things she has not shared with Jane on camera. There are two things she has not shared with Jane (I may be wrong about the first one, so correct me if I am wrong). 

1) She has not told Jane that Haffner is a member of Visualize

2) She did not think it was important to tell Jane that Haffner visited her in the hospital

We could assume that she did share this info with Jane, but not on the show. That actually seems more plausible than suggesting that she does not think it is important to tell him these things about a man who is on his list or that she is hiding information. 

Or is it?

Tiger Tiger burning bright
In the forest of the night

could frame thy fearful symmetry

The Tiger is Red John.

And then... further on..

When the stars threw down their spears
And wat'rd heaven with their tears
Did he smile His work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

There's more to the poem of course... But... The last line is telling. The "lamb" is the cult, Visualize. It offers techniques against rage and aggression, and is against things like brainwashing, a fairly peaceful cult.

The poem basically is about god's creation of the fearsome, deadly heart of the tiger, and marvels at how god could have created such a wicked, evil creature, while also creating the gentle lamb. In this case, "god" is not an immortal being, but rather, the creator of Visualize, Bret Stiles.

So, who is the Tiger? A rogue member of visualize. Ray Haffner is a confirmed member of Visualize. Unless someone else has been a member of visualize, he is the only one that fits the riddle of this poem. .

Next, we have the line... "Red John Likes the Cold"
This is likely a riddle as well.

It may be hinting that Red John's name is the same as some place that's very cold. If that's so, then, there's a place in Canada called "Haffner Creek". It's an ice climbing site. I couldn't find anything similar for the other suspects.

Finally, Ray Haffner also fits much of Red John's profile, without being completely obvious.

While I would like to RJ to be Bret Stiles, there's one thing throwing me off about that, and it was the same reason I dismissed McAllister.  The psychiatric notes described RJ as "middle-aged".  While I might cut a little slack to someone terming McAllister middle-aged, Malcolm McDowell is 70 years old.  He's not ancient, but I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would consider 70 "middle-aged".

Also going back to Ray, the blood on the wall said "He is man".  At the time of the episode airing, I joked around that it really said "Heisman" and O.J. Simpson was the murderer.  But Ray has what looks like a Heisman trophy in his office so I'm wondering if I may have been correct in reading "Heisman" all those years ago.

The theory written by "hammrn" is super - Danny could be RJ. But Bruno Heller said that RJ IS on Patrick's list, so not Danny. 

The body of Partrige doesn't vanish after they found Lisbon, so Partige dies and he can't do a come back. 

My opinion is that Ray Haffner is RJ. He didn't kill Lisbon because he likes her, and he has a similar character like Patrick.

Ray Haffner wants to be with Theresa Lisbon. What if he gives Jane (another) wrong Red John and Patrick leaves the CBI then (like he did already twice). And then Ray will get together with Lisbon and the last Scene of the Mentalist is something, that proves Haffner is RJ but Patrick got the wrong RJ again.

That would be great and bitter at the same time...

First I just want to say that I totally ignore Bruno's words because, he won't sold and spoil his show in media.

I have a problem with the list of the seven name. Some of them don't fit the clue we already have. So why PJ place them on that list anyway. Either, this list is bogus and the real RJ is not on it (objective is to create a trap with this list), either the list contains the real suspect on it and we can eclude Sheriff MacAllister, Smith, Bertram, Stiles leaving Haffner, Kirkland and Partridge or some of the clues we have, are, totally or partially, wrong (age, physics,...).

If some of the clues are wrong this may be because RJ is in fact several person. This theory explains ubiquity but have two major problem. First, I think we have already know if Rosalind Harker description in episode 1x23 was not correct and second RJ profile seems to descripe one person only and do not have major contrast (like two personalities in one). So for me that's wrong.

If the list is accurate, that means :
     -Sheriff MacAllister is out : don't fit with the description, don't seem to be manipulative but he can whistle... (could be a followers)

     -Smith is out : don't fit with the description, is not able to manage anger (could be a followers)

     -Bertram is out : don't fit with the description, don't seem very intelligent (could be a followers)

     -Stiles is out : would have been the perfect RJ but don't fit with the description. But he is for good close to RJ (could be some kind of a mentor).

     -Haffner is in : match description, can whistle, is kind of strange, shakes hand with PJ and don't become a friend. Is asking about the case (clue or not?!? not sure) Visualize member, ex CBI and FBI (have some relation). Is relatively low rank so he have more flexibility. have the motive => He is best suspect but maybe too best

     -Kirkland is in : match description, shakes hand with PJ and don't become a friend. But base on 6x04 promo he is not RJ because he torture PJ to have information (could be a followers)

   -Partridge is in : match description, is very strange, is in CBI (close to the case), is asking and following a lot RJ but doesn't shakes hand with PJ on screen (but we can assume they did it on screen; we don't have to take this clue literally I think)  and seems to be dead.

And finally, if the list is bogus, either the seven are RJ's followers or they are completly innoncent. This tell us something about PJ, if they are followers then PJ is cleaning up and approching RJ, if they are innoncent then PJ wants RJ and doesn't matter about collateral damage.

But then who is RJ :

     -PJ himself : in a sort he is because RJ is the perfect opposite of PJ (the evil twin -metaphorically-). He match perfectly and we cannot exclude him but in my personnal oppinion the show doesn't prepare us about this possibilities so it would be a too much artifical twist and what would is motive be?

     -PJ's hidden brother : could be but in 6 season we never had a clue about a brother of PJ so this would also be too much artifical.

     -Alex Jane PJ's father : would be too old to match RJ's description and isn't present enough in the show

     -Lisbon, Van Pelt, or other woman: we are looking for a caucasian man. (could be followers)

     -Cho : we are looking for a caucasian man. He could have been but he is too straight and a bit too young and friend with PJ.

     -Rigsby : too young, is friend with PJ (but is Lorelei saying the true when she says they are not friends...)

     -CBI Ron : drink tee, match description, is strange, always present since the beggining, has a ring in the same place than RJ. Doesn't shake hand with PJ. We don't know much about him so we can't exclude him => He is a good suspect and I don't understand why he isn't on PJ's list maybe because he is PJ's number one suspect.

     -Walter Mashburn : match description, has a lot of ressources, is intelligent and manipulative. We can exclude him execpt maybe because of the fact he isn't close to PJ and the case.

And if an other person is RJ, I will be very surprise and Bruno Heller will have a lot of job to sell me that.

So my number one suspect is Ray Haffner, followed by CBI Ron and Partridge.
