THE THEORIES

A lot of people were asking about that odd scene from tonight's episode where Jane kneels and clutches his leg. I think I figured it out. Jane is hiding a gun. If you watch this promo you see Jane swinging his arm in the church with a gun from a source that is near his leg:

And... I didn't want RJ to be McAllister, but I think it is. Bertram is too obvious, Jane said his name in the press conference to distract people. I wants to kill RJ for himself. Plus when Bertram killed the bartender I knew that the killing was too careless to be RJ.

Now, when Bertram turned up at the storage place they referred to him as Thomas.

Also, the pigeon theory rampant throughout this season and the end of last season.

Wiliam Blake mentions pigeons (doves) in a poem called 'The Land of the Dreams'

Among the Lambs, clothed in white
She walk’d with her Thomas in sweet delight
I wept for joy like a dove I mourn
O when shall I again return

....Thomas.

It's McAllister.

=> Evidence #1: http://i.imgur.com/v98oWsz.png
=> Evidence #2: "He is Mar", could mean "He is McAllisteR" or "sHErIff thomaS McAllisteR" or even "He is McA".
=> Evidence #3: Waldo. He stays in the background and appears once a page. McAllister appeared in one case and stayed in the background for the rest of the time.
=> Evidence #4: "I'm surprised you didn't become lifelong friends from the moment you shook hands." They shook hands when they played rock, paper, scissor.

There's also some other things, like the fact that he was the only one with title on the list. I honestly didn't like the idea at first and even till last episode. Now I'm happy with basically anyone but Bertram. Talk about an anticlimactic reveal.

I am not buying Bertram as RJ. That can't be.

I picture red john to be someone with evil laughter or a creepy smirk. For that quality, we have the Sheriff, Volker, Harken, Stiles, and Partridge (I haven't seen him smirked but if he does, I'm sure it would be creepy).
My money was on Partridge but he died. I hope the show will give a good story if he turns out to be alive. Else, please keep him dead.

Of all the remaining suspects, the sheriff is the only one with the characteristics and composure of a batman villain. Red John has to be Jokerish. Intelligent, broken, dark, clever, and deceptive.

What about the gunshot in the house? We have not heard anything about that. Maybe McAllister got himself shot on purpose so he could leave his DNA behind, making everyone think he died.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing things but when Lisbon found Patrick Jane after the explosion, it looked like someone walked past behind Lisbon, I think that is RJ.

Also if Haffner and Stiles are dead, then what was the point of that occult ceremony? Does it not mean anything?

About this episode's title:

This episode was called 'The Great Red Dragon'. When you look that up, it is a novel by THOMAS Harris. It is a book that involves a character named
Francis Dolarhyde who has an obsession with the painting (William Blake painting 'The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in the Sun')
Dolarhyde also develops a relationship with a BLIND female coworker named Reba McClane.

Also this episode I found Grace was acting
a little weird and suspicious. The detective said that an informant or sources at
the CBI told him that they were on their way (to capture Reede Smith), but only
Van Pelt and Rigsby knew of this. Grace also found Reede Smith's wherabouts pretty
quickly, looking at old case files. I mean how did she know to look there? I
really think she is working with RJ. She seemed very strange to me the first episode
of season 1 where she got defensive when her and Jane were discussing the afterlife and her cousin being psychic. She is a big believer in psychic powers and RJ seems to imply that he is psychic. She also called Patrick Jane a sad
man. She said "
you poor sad man, the Kingdom of God is a real place". She said it exactly how RJ would say it.

Plus she has red hair and
RJ has a thing for reds (e.g. Rosalind). Not only that but McAllister seemed to be fixated on her as well (second episode of season 1).

Finally the announcement of Gale Bertram as RJ by
Patrick Jane was a bit out of character. Don't you think he would not want to
alert anyone in case someone else killed Bertram before he got to him? I think he is using it as a way to get to the real RJ.

We can see here that Red John is wounded http://o1311.hizliresim.com/1h/l/unkm2.jpg  :

Whoever Jane shot before the explosion is RED JOHN and i believe it's Thomas McAllister.

But what happened there? Did McAllister attack Jane? we hear someone scream NO WAIT!,you wont have time to say that because if someone attack Jane he will shoot instantly!.

The episodes going so fast leaving so much behind.
