THE THEORIES

I can't help but to keep going back to what Patrick said on the tv show that got red john to kill his family because he just killed his family not him something he said was right he said lives in a single story blue house with a citrus tree out front and I've watched fire and brimstone three times and keep coming back to the scene where Patrick sends a text to McAllister and he is walking out of the Napa valley blue oak substation the sign is clear in the shot so is his cop car out front that says Napa valley. If you have watched the show you know when they give these readings they are never exact but in a round about way the description is somewhat right that's what makes it seem psychic it may be nothing but who knows the diner Lisbon met gaff er in was called the reyn diner. Just seeing if anyone else has noticed stuff like this because this is the type of things that are hidden in plain sight.

In my previous theory I chose Thomas because of the telephone conversation between him and PJ at episode 3 of season 6. He said "Hello Patrick" with the exact same manner and a somewhat lower voice like the Red John phonecall in episode 1.  After the phonecall he sneaked upon PJ in the woods, PJ said "I didn't hear you coming.." Thomas replied with" I love to hunt things with faces".
Sounds like the m.o of Red John, everytime he leaves behind a face and the last time he painted the face on Teresa Lisbon face.

What I liked the most was in episode 6 when PJ brought all the suspects together, he asked everyone to lower their sleeves. The only one who got quite scared was Thomas. He immediately reacted with: "Patrick it's not what you think." Not because he is anxious about Patrick but more that he is going to lose his friend PJ now. Maybe Thomas somehow got into the TygerTyger group for resources.

I honestly don’t like the idea of RJ being Brett Partridge because in my mind Red John is manly, sophisticated, has many friends, and is meticulous.
I don’t see BP as RJ because he is not lovable as a person, an we can all agree that the followers or RJ see in him as a God like figure, protector, and are willing to do anything even to take their own life for him.
And Brett Partridge is not someone that would make you do anything of that magnitude.
The killer must be physically strong, evil eyed yet mentalist like to get people to do what he wants.
Brett is boyish to me, and has really weird fascination with RJ, i see him as RJ fan but not RJ himself.

Red John must be manly, sophisticated, to have a lot of friends, to be well read, to me patient enough to wait for the perfect moments and to do such heinous crimes.
To me Red John is ether Sheriff Tom McAllister or Gale Bertram ( although Ray was the one I originally suspected at the beginning of season 6).
I would be satisfied with any of the final five (now 3) suspects as being RJ, but not Brett Partridge, simply because Red John is characteristically similar to Patrick, and I don’t see BP to be shoulder to shoulder with Patrick…..

So, I noticed something interesting about the suspects this year.  The Sheriff is the only one of them who actually gets along with Patrick.  Bertram finds him frustrating as always.  Reede accuses him of murder.  Haffner pokes at him saying "We study you in visualize now," calling his blind struggle against fate so fruitless.  Partridge seems generally upset with Jane's coldness towards him.  Stiles is annoyed with Jane and doesn't want to meet with him.  "What's so damned important?!?" he says.  Oh and Kirkland tries to torture him for information.  :)

Only McAllister is friendly to Patrick.  He asks Jane to call him "Tom".  With regards to the case in Napa Valley, McAllister tells Jane he truly appreciates him making his job easier for him.  He saves Jane's life, even.  Then proceeds to tell him "I'm at your disposal anytime."  When it came to rounding up the suspects, the Sheriff doesn't protest or debate about meeting.  He agrees almost immediately and then asks, "This is about Red John, isn't it?"

I find this odd considering how little the Sheriff liked Jane in season 1.  He was immediately annoyed with him.  He asks Jane curtly, "What exactly is it that you do?"  They play rock paper scissors and Jane beats him repeatedly, making the Sheriff angrier each time he loses.  So why does McAllister like Jane in season 6, then?

Here's my theory;  Red John initially hated Patrick.  He called Jane a money-grubbing fraud and killed his wife and child for slandering him on the news.  However the farther we get along in the series, it seems the more he has grown to respect him.  He winds up saving Jane from the copycats, offers the hand of friendship by sending Lorelei, and even when the 7 suspects are revealed, RJ doesn't kill Jane.  Instead he challenges Patrick to catch him.  That's why I think "Tom" gets along with Patrick in season 6.  He is Red John, and over 6 years of cat and mouse, he has found Jane to be a worthy adversary... and probably the closest thing he has to a real friend.  He has many followers but no one has the guts to challenge him like Patrick.  Red John needs Patrick, much like the Joker needs Batman and Moriarty needs Sherlock Holmes.

I think the list is the RJ did Jane ... because he could not guess as psychic RJ hates that. Patrick is again manipulated by Rj.
Rj is the sheriff all over the profile block Rj is the mentor of Dumar = Marshall Hardy
heller said to be like looking for wally 2x10 watch the driver
Sheriff is the one who says "hi patrick"
in a poem by W. Blake is a phrase
Among the lambs, dressed in white,He walked with her Thomas in sweet delight.I cried with joy, like a dove I mourn;Oh! When will there?
When RJ saves PJ look at the shoes and then shoes look 6x03
Episode 4x24 end the police car look at the smoke leaving the desert comes not from the street ... a sting operation by the cbi-fbi
It smells like pine
He is mar = marshal = sheriff

Hey guys,
I have a link to very good article about the Red John episode that give A LOT OF SPOILERS if you read between the lines.

Red John is someone from the list (3rd paragraph) sorry imdb and mashburn
RJ and Jane will be face to face,1v1 no cops, anyone else than those two
Patrick would be a wanted man 2 years after so I think he killed RJ in 6x08 and hiding himself from cops
Cant wait!
Thanks

To all of you that think that Brett is Red John:

Brett is not Red John. He is more like a fan of his and a follower, I don't see him as someone that can make you do anything let alone to kill for him, and we all know that Red John has that kind of power. Do you really see someone like Lorelei to fall for a nerdy guy like Brett.......No, he is to geeky and twilight looking to be Red John......Red John is a manly man!

My money is on McAllister!
