So we are all assuming only one person on Jane's list is Red John... what if Red John is all of them or more than one of them :| 

Question that just popped in to my head:
Why didn't Jane just rush to Bertram's office as he was on the phone with Red John?
And if would be in his office then Jane would have one less suspect on his list, right?
Perhaps the clue Heller was talking about?

Not a theory, but surely Rosalind Harker must be lying about the physical description? If not, then wouldn't have RJ killed her already? He normally kills his minions when they're no longer needed, yet she's still alive, which suggests to me that she still has a purpose, and that is to throw off any potential invstigators by purposely giving false info.

On that logic, working to the opposites of the given description, RJ must either be:

Very tall or rather short
Muscular or fat
Bald or have longer/curly hair

Only one man really fits all 3 points: Gale Bertram (tall, well built, bald(ing)), but he would be too obvious, and this show doesn't like obvious suspects. 

Reede Smith is chubby, so he could be considered, plus he's confirmed to appear in episode 6:08 (Red John), as well as 6:02 (Black winged Redbird).

Also, i'm unsure as to how genuine the suspect list is. I know Bruno Heller has said it is legit, but Bruno Heller also said that the guy in 3:24 was RJ, and we know how that turned out. Wouldn't surprise me if he was lying to protect the script. 

Can someone PLEASE explain this shit to me?

I don't understand why Bruno Heller show us RJ wearing a ring when he was at Rosalind Harker house and then he give us 7 suspects with no ring !

Also Rosalind Harker said Red John has short straight hair , isn't Gale Bertram bald?

just in this site there was hundreds of theories based on his interview after last season's finale ( the list is legit , red john is one of the seven ) . they carefully watched every episode to come up with a rational and awesome theory . now it is fake? are you kidding me ?? are you fucking kidding me ????

I think Red John could be an unknown brother of Patrick. Patrick has grown up with the dad, but where is the mom? I suppose the Patrick's mom died in a fire when she was with the little RJ, who believed dead instead survived. This is also the reason why Rj knows about the girl who is a happy memory from Patrick's childhood: RJ was there, with dad, mom and his brother Patrick.

Now we know for sure this list is fake so that means PJ has another list of suspects or has already discovered who is RJ and that also mean the 7 suspects in the fake list can't be RJ
