what the hell is going on ? 
According to interviews Partridge is dead and Bertram gives that obvious dialog ? Only thing that he didn't say was :"I am RED JOHN" really?
But i have to say that I am really happy that now show is more about red john than other things.

I am not accusing anyone of being Red John but in numerous interviews with Heller after the premier he does state that Red John did KILL Partridge. Whether that means he actually killed him or it means that character will no longer be present in the TV show (because he will only be present as Red John) I am still unsure. He did seem to make it clear that RJ killed him for a reason but we will have to wait and see if that reason is because RJ is Partridge or something else and Partridge is actually dead.

First off, I don't know who Red John is.

But I strongly suspect that there will be a twist. He is probably not someone we currently suspect. Or if he is, there will be a twist of another sort - perhaps a shock revelation about who in CBI is aiding him.

Some other thoughts:
1. Lorelei Martins is still alive. Red John faked her death (twin, plastic surgery, whatever) and the video of her naming the suspects was made AFTER Jane had completed the list.
2. Van Pelt has become involved with Bret Stiles. Recall the scene when he is in custody and begins speaking to her and she actually begins to look interested? My guess is that she got involved with his group and has (maybe) been passing information to him.
3. Bret Stiles is not Red John, but he knows who he is - that is clear from earlier episodes. Red John may have some "dirt" on Stiles or an involvement in the cult.
4. Rigsby and VanPelt are leaving the show this season - apparently there will be a wedding in episide three (maybe them?). Red John may go after them - or one of them anyway.
5. Bob Kirkland is hunting Red John for National Security reasons, or for personal reasons - but not just as "a cop" doing his job. Perhaps, like Jane, Red John killed someone he loved. Or maybe Red John is some sort of risk to someone in government. Kirkland has stolen copies of Jane's files ... but we don't know what he knows.
6. Summer will be killed by Red John - or abducted by him to lead Cho into a trap.
7. JJ LaRoche is not Red John but Red John knows things about him which give him leverage should he need it.

Anyway - that's my tuppence worth ... enjoy the show!

Alex Jane is Red John ( or maybe after his possible death some unknown ( twin-) brother of Jane )
Also probable Patrick has a brother (or sister ) he never knew
We don't know anything about Patrick's mother. I can imagine Alex Jane and his wife having had 2 children and that they were separated at the divorce. Alex took Patrick with him
Regarding Alex's temper and his anger at Patrick running away and taking away Alex's income, I can imagine Alex being Red John.
Remember the settings of Lorelei's death = carnival scene

Heller said, there is a clue in the last minutes of season 6 episode 1. I saw something, which wasn't mentioned here before:

Right before Lisbon entered the house a car went by. She looked after it but then she heard a noise from inside the building. Then she got a call from Jane. He left her a message. Here is the thing: Jane was also sitting in a car. And I wonder why he was smiling as he asked her where she might be. As if he knew... Maybe he was the one, who drove by.

Some things here are makes you think twice.
Red John is a powerful person well connected and with loyal minions who are not naive miserable persons and still they all talk about him with admiration like some kind of a deity.

So how some clown can become so powerful more powerful then some billionaires or high state officials.Brett Stiles is a clue but not necessary the RJ himself, maybe father or he do something bad to RJ family so he protect him now and paying his debt.
Anyway I believe that RJ had a bigger reason to kill Jane's family maybe revenge or who knows what.

RJ is womanizer and powerful man and only people like that could control and impress beautiful and strong person like Lorelei.So i would put my money on Mashburn. .
I see RJ as modern professor Moriarty on his mission.
