Warning!! Spoiler!! Canadians were able to see the last episode 6: Fire and Brimstone, please do not read if you don't want spoilers!!
Three Questions after episode 6 I think are vital to the story:
1. What is Tyger Tyger interests in RJ? Obviously Bertram has been keen to be around when RJ is found, and now that its clear he is not RJ, why do they care?
2. Why show the ritual with Stiles the way they did 2 episodes before the RJ reveal? It was so over the top and hammed up that it seems the creators wanted you to make the connection with RJ, so why?
3. Why fake the deaths of all of the suspects and Jane at the end?
First off, I don't think its anyone left on the list, including Stiles. As mentioned above Stiles's scene with the ritual is too over the top, and clearly meant to remind you of when RJ put blood on Lisbon's face. Also, if you noticed Stiles was one of the ones who cautioned Jane not to shoot McCallister without first noticing that more than one suspect had the tattoo, and it doesn't make sense for RJ to care about Jane's well being in that way. Red John is obsessed with Jane yes, but wants to see him go darker, and become a monster, and that has been a constant throughout the show. Jane killing someone he has falsely believed was RJ, seems like exactly the thing RJ would smile about, not attempt to prevent.
I don't think it's Haffner either. He is too open about his hatred, and with his anger. His reaction to being asked to show up was too normal: offense, anger, curiosity, and then eventually realizing it would be of benefit to him to be there. I do however think its a bit odd that he isn't surprised to see Stiles? After all Visualize thinks he is elevating to another existence, aka running away to South America, so why does Haffner show no surprise at his attendance?
The Sheriff, and Reed don't jive as RJ either, neither seems to pay enough attention to Jane, or even rise to his baits for me to believe they would care like RJ does. Bertram did have a very long moment where he gave Jane a weird look when it came out that he had the tattoo as well, but these Tyger Tyger guys are working together, IF RJ is in fact one person, I just don't believe he is team player.
That leaves Partridge, Kirkland, or unknown.
Partridge - If it's him he faked his own death, but why? The only thing that makes sense at this point is that Tyger Tyger was after him too. RJ knows he needs to get out of dodge, so he fakes his own death and takes on the RJ persona full-time. I am thinking his connection to visual will obviously be that Stiles is his father, or his mentor. I am leaning towards son though, it explains the cover-ups, and the resources RJ has tapped into in the past.
Kirkland - The more I think about it the more I think its him, well sorta. The facts that the guys who play Bob Kirkland and Stiles are both more recognizable actors in terms of careers than the rest, and Bob Kirkland was off his nut so it runs in the family. I think the only way this make sense, it's not Bob Kirkland that is RJ but his twin brother Michael . His twin brother wasn't talking about RJ promising change, Michael was actually taken in by Brett Stiles, and was at the visualize farm, and Michael himself became RJ. I think Michael has posed as Bob before, and that's how he met Patrick. I think Michael also killed that witness at the hospital, and has been able to play off being Bob to sometimes access NSA resources. I also think Michael's got something on visualize, and Stiles feels compelled to keep his secret quiet, but not sure why yet. I am also not sure how Tyger Tyger fits into this theory, other than its info we haven't gotten yet. But for some reason I think there is more to the twin Kirkland brothers than meets the eye.
Unknown - I am still thinking it could be an unknown. I know everybody thinks Heller has been honest, but I really don't. I don't fault him, I know fans like to think their passion is what fuels shows, but its actually money that decides what shows get on air. Promoting this, and getting people to tune in will be the factor in if Heller gets another gig. So to be fair, he should be less concerned with keeping us fans happy, and more concerned with getting us to watch. Ratings are his priority, so I think it could all still go pear shaped by the time of the RJ reveal.
Let me know what you think!!??
