ARGUMENTATION

The last couple of episodes have given a lot of clues and I think it’s really obvious who RJ is now.

If RJ was the one to kill the private detective, then RJ has to be either Smith, Bertram or McAllister. Another member of Tyger Tyger could have done it, but RJ has been confirmed by Bruno Heller that it is someone on the list so if RJ was the one to kill Kira, then he has to be either one of those three.

It's not Smith for obvious build issues. It's been made very clear throughout the entire series that RJ is not overweight.
It could be Bertram, but how could it be? It's more likely that he's just a member of Tyger Tyger and leaks information to RJ. As Smith said when Jane walks in on their little meeting, it's his job to know what's going on. Yes as some people have said, Bertram could be mole within Tyger Tyger, and reports to some high up power about the going-ons between RJ and PJ, but it seems really unlikely. Either way he cannot be RJ. He's either a Tyger Tyger mole or more likely, just a Tyger Tyger member and an informant to RJ.

That leaves McAllister. He has a fear of heights and he fits the basic description of RJ given over the series. If RJ indeed has the tattoo, it's McAllister, it has to be. Unless Bertram is making phone calls to himself and Smith is constantly wearing a fat suit, it logically cannot be them.

But the question really is, would RJ have a Tyger Tyger tattoo? Would it be a risk or would having it allow anonymity amongst the organisation which follows him? If RJ does not have the tattoo, it leaves Haffner, Kirkland, Stiles and Partridge.

Firstly, it cannot be Kirkland. Nor his twin brother. I have seen a lot of theories relating to Michael being RJ and some elaborate switch over, but it seems a little too elaborate but to me it seems really obvious it’s not. The reason why Bob was asking if the RJ associate last season had seen his face was not because he is RJ and wanted to remain anonymous (RJ wouldn’t be that sloppy) but to see if he knew his twin brother and anything about him. And then killed him because he didn’t. Then he went on a murderous rampage and killed the fake list of seven, to kill the man who ruined his brother. Then he dies at the hands of Smith, a member of Tyger Tyger and that’s the end of that, end of storyline.

So that leaves Haffner, Stiles and Partridge.

Regarding Partridge, the actor and producers have confirmed he’s really dead. They could be lying as saying “no, he’s alive!” is a major spoiler and would ruin the fun, but if he is still alive, don’t you think it would ring massive alarm bells if his body disappeared? It can’t be him.

It could be Stiles. Even though he is supposedly on his deathbed, there is no reason why it couldn't be him. As with Haffner, there is a lot of evidence it is him, he fits Rosalind's description, the whistling, the fear of spiders, and Ray Haffner disappearing at the same time as she was killed and coming in moments after the nurse stakes out the room Teresa is in? It's like they want us to think it's him, but it still could be.

It's either Stiles, Haffner or McAllister.

But it's the massive clue at the end of the first episode which solves it.
Partridge saying Tyger Tyger.
The person who killed him has the tattoo, that’s why he said it, to try and identify him. It’s just that neither Teresa or PJ understood what he was implying.

Red John is Thomas McAllister.
