First of all this is not a theory, its more information related with video's of who red john could be.

First things first. My red john suspect is still ray haffner. There are very good theories about every suspects, some of you think partridge, some mccalister and i think its ray haffner.

There are youtube videos of americ who has reviews of the mentalist episodes.

Americ thinks that ray haffner is red john based on the handshake theory. He could be wrong, but it seems to me more plausible what he is saying about the suspects.

So assuming with this video i think his red john is ray haffner.

In the next video he is watching the red john episode, yes the red john episode 6x08, its the cut version which is not the final version we normally see.

Look at his reaction at 1.47 he seems excited and also shocked like he knew who red john was. And if iam not wrong i think he also say haffner haffner its haffner(at 1.47-1.52).

So based on his previous theories and his choice of red john(which is ray haffner) i think he is somehow glad that he is right of the outcame.

So like i said its not a theory but more video based there is no any evidence about who it is but is my prediction.
